Why would you think people have Christian Values ?

Should God have let,  or caused,  what is much worse for us to happen ?   (It will happen soon enough,  when God Says)

Remember what Scripture Says Clearly :

He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. ... King James Bible ... You control human events--you give rulers their power and take it away, and you .... but it is God who judges; He brings one down and exalts another. ..

I would suggest that when you have only two options and you don't really like either.. You then decide to select the option that is the less offensive to you..

So when i came to Trump and Clinton these voters selected Trump because Clinton was far more offensive to them..

If I had not voted for Trump, Hillary Clinton would have become president.  I voted for Trump to block her.  I didn't vote for him easily and I can't STAND it when fellow brothers and sister act like he was sent from God to "save the nation".

However, America is not a theocracy.  America really isn't even a Christian nation.  [I do know that some people equate Christianity with American nationalism but that's idolatry in my opinion.]

I do not apologize for voting for him, I do not consider what I did evil, and I will vote for him again unless the Lord directs me otherwise.  God is ultimately in charge anyway.

If our country is going to hell in a handbasket like some believe, one singular president cannot burden 100% of the responsibility.

Who told you Yahweh did not choose and put in place the one who Yahweh wanted to be in office ?

Most of the system, if not all of it, and most of the past politicians, and future ones,   are all part of the same system opposed to faith in Jesus.

Yahweh set the boundaries,   men did not.

Apparently they felt like they had to vote no matter what. They did not like Hilary. Many did not vote. God opened up the doors for Trump. No necessarily for the benefit of America. I am sure you have been reading the news. We may get answers to your question.

How did he put Trump in office [and I believe he did]?  He moved people to cast a ballot for him.  God is sovereign. He puts people where he wants them to be for whatever the reason is.  Perhaps you've read something in to what I said?

Let me tell you a story that I don't readily tell.

I, along with millions, was watching the election returns on the night that George W. Bush won his second term in November of 2004.

As you know, on those nights the media also cuts away to senate elections and more all over the nation.  That night, the channel I was watching, kept cutting away to the senatorial elections in Illinois.  They kept showing this tall, black man with a funny name who had won an Illinois senate seat and was from Chicago.

They cut away to him FAR more than any other senate race winner/loser.  I kept wondering what was going on with that.  And the commentators kept on complimenting him and talking about how smart he was.  I almost felt like it was that man's night and not President Bush's night.

I had never even heard of the guy:   Barak Hussein Obama.

God said to my in my spirit, "This is your next president."  I said to myself, "Oh, wow."

God did not say this to me to make me glad/excited or to make me depressed/mad.  God was reiterating to me that he is completely sovereign over it all - including who becomes president of the United States.

So God did choose whom he wanted with Trump.  But he works in presidential elections on election day by moving people to vote.  I was moved to vote to Trump even though I am not his biggest fan at all.

I believe that God put Obama in office.  As judgment on Americans for decades of abortion, homosexual promotion, and sexual depravity in general.

Why has God put Trump in office?  I don't know....but I don't believe it's for "saving America".

I voted for him.  I truly believe that a vote for anyone else was a vote for Hillary.
