The lie was Holiness was not possible. The author suggested the reader create a Holy Moment by collaborating with God to completely transform ourselves and our lives into the-very-best-version-of-ourselves. Matthew Kelly has written other books touting the Roman Catholic system as a self help experience has he not? "Rediscover Catholicism - Discover why Catholicism is not a lifeless set of rules and regulations, but a way of life designed by God to help each person reach his or her full potential."
