What brought you to Worthy Boards and what has kept you here?

I'm finding there are many hurting people on here. I am not suggesting we're all a bunch of emotional cripples or anything like that, but as I am getting to know people, I am learning that underneath their comments many a tender and hurting heart exists. I think they have come here to find friendship, acceptance and comfort as well as maybe a place to sound off their opinions. What do you think?

Me? I'm here because I believe God led me here. He was showing me a lot of stuff about End Times and I was looking to find any information I could from others who might have been getting some of the same messages. Well, I got a lot more than what I came seeking. I found I needed more than just confirmation or answered questions concerning End Times events. I needed a place I could be completely me, where I could express my thoughts and share my views and where I could encourage and comfort others who are hurting and where I could learn from other people not only about Christ but how to relate to others, too. Many of you have set wonderful examples for me to follow. Thanks so much!

I am here cause I am going through tough times 'cause my bedridden mother in law takes us 24/7 around the clock and I needed sharing with other believers in Jesus and google "christians forums" and I am here and happy to be with you guys,God bless you all. :noidea::);)

I haven't quite figured it out yet. LOL I suppose I came looking for some fellowship and friends. I haven't posted much, but have been here for a while. I am not sure why I am hesitant to post more, but hopefully, soon, I can come out of my shell. I do enjoy reading what others post, and have learned some things since lurking here. So I must thank you all for allowing me that.

I can't say totally why I'm here because I would have to share things about other people in my life that they may want to be discreet. I originally came here for the fellowship and then it became a place to voice my opinion. Now that I know that my opinion is unpopular I will go back to the fellowship

I'm here because I'm bored, and I stay because I rather enjoy debating and... to a lesser extent, arguing. Plus, I'm bored... Did I mention that I'm bored???

I met a man at Church, and he befriended me.

As we got to know each other, he invited me to try out a new site called : WorthyBoards!

At the time, I didn't know much about websites at the time....so I didn't check it out for a little while.

Then , as I came on here, more and more.....I loved it. I started to make friends.

I shared views, I discussed all types of things.

Then, in January, I came across a Thread called "Is It Just Me"............>LOL...I was hooked!

Proclaimed myself "Empress" on there, and there, the humour continues!!

I didn't have a clue, until the man I had met, and had been invited to Worthy from, told me about Chat......I tried it out, and now I have got three Chat Friends:

Lydia2005

SonBeam...

And NewHeart05.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thankyou to all of you people on here.

You make Worthy a special place!

I owe a GREAT BIG THANKYOU to George as well!

And all of you who want to know who that lovely man, who I met at Church was, who invited me to this wonderful, fantastic site is.......

There are much worse things to do on the Net. As testy as it gets here at times, at least the focus of the discussions are on God and the things that matter more than anything else. Even a argument makes me have to get my Bible out. Lord knows iI need to.

God Bless

Dan

I don't remember why or how I ended up here in the first place, but like you Dan, this site really evokes a lot more in the way of Bible Study. I love the Word of God, and coming here, will many times, ignite a different study each and every day. I always find many interesting things here to search out in the Word of God, and this is just like a springboard for a treasure hunt in the Word. Thank you all for your contributions here. I have found some really good things!!! And some really good people!!!

In His Love,

Suzanne

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
