They are rich in lyrics and bring honor to our Lord. Will you join with me in posting them? Let us lift up the One who bought us and is forever worthy! Amazing Grace Amazing grace, How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I am found, Was blind, but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed. Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come, 'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far And grace will lead me home. The Lord has promised good to me His word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures. Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease I shall possess within the veil, A life of joy and peace. When we've been there ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise Than when we've first begun. 3 2 3 1 1

Hark the Herald Angels Sing is for all year, just as is the determined cry out of a man so trodden upon as Hortio Spafford with his poem, It Is Well (With My Soul) Perhaps my personal favorite(s) come from Fernando Ortega's heart and soul. Sing To Jesus: Come and see, look on this mystery The Lord of the Universe, nailed to a tree Christ our God, spilling His Holy blood Bowing in anguish, His sacred head Sing to Jesus, Lord of our shame Lord of our sinful hearts He is our great Redeemer Sing to Jesus, Honor His name Sing of His faithfulness, pouring His life out unto death Come you weary and He will give you rest Come you who mourn, lay on His breast Christ who died, risen in Paradise Giver of mercy, Giver of Life Sing to Jesus His is the throne Now and forever He is the King of Heaven Sing to Jesus, we are His own Now and forever sing for the love our God has shown Sing to Jesus, Lord of our shame Lord of our sinful hearts He is our great Redeemer Sing to Jesus, Honor His name 2 3

From an ancient Irish poem which was later put into verses by Eleanor Hull for the hymn. Be Thou My Vision 1 Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; naught be all else to me, save that thou art - thou my best thought by day or by night, waking or sleeping, thy presence my light. 2 Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word; I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord; thou my great Father, I thy true son; thou in me dwelling, and I with thee one. 3 Be thou my battle shield, sword for my fight; be thou my dignity, thou my delight, thou my soul's shelter, thou my high tow'r: raise thou me heav'n-ward, O Pow'r of my pow'r. 4 Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise, thou mine inheritance, now and always: thou and thou only, first in my heart, High King of heaven, my treasure thou art. 5 High King of heaven, my victory won, may I reach heaven's joys, O bright heav'n's Sun! Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, still be my vision, O Ruler of all. 4 5

Charles A. Miles, 1913 I come to the garden alone, While the dew is still on the roses, And the voice I hear falling on my ear The Son of God discloses. Refrain: And....He walks with me, and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own; And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other has ever known. He speaks, and the sound of His voice Is so sweet the birds hush their singing, And the melody that He gave to me Within my heart is ringing. I’d stay in the garden with Him, Though the night around me be falling, But He bids me go; through the voice of woe His voice to me is calling. 3

Gilmore 1 He leadeth me: O blessed thought! O words with heavenly comfort fraught! Whate'er I do, where'er I be, still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me. Refrain: He leadeth me, he leadeth me; by his own hand he leadeth me: his faithful follower I would be, for by his hand he leadeth me. 2 Sometimes mid scenes of deepest gloom, sometimes where Eden's flowers bloom, by waters calm, o'er troubled sea, still 'tis God's hand that leadeth me. Refrain 3 Lord, I would clasp thy hand in mine, nor ever murmur nor repine; content, whatever lot I see, since 'tis my God that leadeth me. Refrain 4 And when my task on earth is done, when, by thy grace, the victory's won, e'en death's cold wave I will not flee, since God through Jordan leadeth me. Refrain The author was a professor of logic and also Hebrew. He held a Baptist ministry position for some time. 1

I find myself on his style, and it fits. Thanks dude. My bride, my sweet Texas Peach hooked me on Fernando. We have become pretty much groupies going to concerts once or twice a year and especially at Christmas season at the Cove. My grandson would ask me to play "Children of The living God" every time I took him to school. And then he would say, "Grandpa I have a Jesus question." I also like "Children Of The Giving God" a happy peppy tune of joy found in worship of our Lord Jesus; Children of the Living God, Come and sing, Sing out loud! Children of the Living God, Sing to the Living God! Sing of the wonders He has made, Bird in flight, Falling rain. Sing of the wonders He has made, Sing to the Living God! How He loves us with great love, He who sits enthroned above. For our lives He spilled His blood, Sent His Spirit like a flood. Children of the Living God, Sing to the Living God! Sing of His gentle healing hands, How they found the lowliest man. Sing of His gentle healing hands, Sing to the Living God! Sing of the mercy that He gives, though we sin, He forgives. Sing of the mercy that He gives, Sing to the Living God! Sing for the morning when He comes in the clouds, Glorious Son! Sing for the morning when He comes, Sing to the Living God!

I could sing as did david , I could rejoice myself out of my clothes , but if I walk in darkness, THE LORD is not at all pleased with my song . And you know sister , I am all about praising . And hand raising too . As are you my loved sister . SO let us lift up the name of the LORD in song and in all we do or say . As I fully KNOW my dear misha already knows . So I say this as only reminders for us all . Hands up , dear sister , hands up and let all rejoice in and praise the LORD . 1

What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul, to bear the dreadful curse for my soul! 2 When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down, when I was sinking down, sinking down; when I was sinking down beneath God's righteous frown, Christ laid aside his crown for my soul, for my soul, Christ laid aside his crown for my soul! 3 To God and to the Lamb, I will sing, I will sing, to God and to the Lamb, I will sing; to God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM, while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing, while millions join the theme, I will sing! 4 And when from death I'm free, I'll sing on, I'll sing on, and when from death I'm free, I'll sing on; and when from death I'm free, I'll sing and joyful be, and through eternity I'll sing on, I'll sing on, and through eternity I'll sing on! 2

Crosby To God be the glory, great things He hath done, So loved He the world that He gave us His Son, Who yielded His life our redemption to win, And opened the life-gate that all may go in. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the earth hear His voice; Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, Let the people rejoice; Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, And give Him the glory; great things He hath done. 2 Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood, To every believer the promise of God; The vilest offender who truly believes, That moment from Jesus a pardon receives. 3 Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done, And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son; But purer, and higher, and greater will be Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see. 2
