just wonder what the sky will look like that day when all them that are dead in Christ rise...... a sky full of ash?

how about those that have received body parts from organ donors during the rapture...... hearts, livers, lungs, eyes, ears..... you name it, all them parts going home to meet up with the original owner of them...

me? well, just keep all my parts just for me.... lol....

with the price of a funeral now a days I would consider cremation and leave it up to the Lord to give me a New body

if He can resarect all who have lived before I need not worry about how he does it the fact that He CAN is good enough for me I think!!!!

I hate to talk about stuff like this, but on June 9, my Granny died.

I didn't know until the late afternoon.

That night, I felt really upset.

No tears, but, pain.......grief......

So, I rang my older brother.....and talked to him.....

Then he said something that me me nearly drop the phone....

"Granny is going to be cremated."

I couldn't believe it.......

I nearly cried.......

My Granny didn't even want a proper burial.......

and her daughter was to have the ashes.......

I really think that cremating is horrible.

Yes, it's quick, but is it not .......... does everyone know what I mean?

I wanted my Granny to have a proper burial.......but no......it was her wish.......

to be cremated.......

I think that cremating is not right.

As someone said before..........Jesus was not cremated......why should we be?

(Sorry.....I expect I've put a dampner on this)

If I am not mistaken,

a person can still use a pine box. with out a vault.

and

a person can also have a plot for burial on their own land ( not sure what the minimum amount of land needs to be to do this )

there are some places where a vault and sealed casket is manditory, but there are still places that will take pine box type caskets.

could be worth looking into

i do believe that the burial depth for a pine box is a manditory 6 foot deep thou.

it might be wouth looking into and making our own coffins......

for me, just dig a hole and lay me down.....

I really think that we are free to chosse either...

The most important thing IS TO BELONG TO JESUS!
