I suppose that we should offer these terrorists (Terrorists who would just love to walk into your local cafe with a nail-filled bombs strapped to their chests and blow everyone in a 20 ft radius to shreds if given half the chance) lollipops and Lucky Charms, and ask them nicely to give up their information?

There is nothing even remotely comparable between Nazi concentration camps, Soviet Gulags, or Pol Pot, and Guantanamo Bay.

1) So, how would you get information out of them?

2) Did you note how even during the "tactics" they keep the men monitored to make sure their health is OK? Di you notice that they don't try to make the detainees go to the bathroom on themselves? And if they do, they are provided the means to clean themselves up?

If what the Senator has said is the major crux of what we have been doing there, he owes the whole country an apology. I can't believe that he quoted those things and compared them to the Nazi's in the late thirties and early forties. Maybe he needs to take a break and read "The Rise and Fall of the Third Rich". If he did, I think he'd change his mind about when and how to speak up about things. There were millions and millions of people who would have given most anything to have been treated so well.

I still say it is being brought up and made a big deal to instill more hatred from the Islamic general population of the world toward us as a power..... and that is pretty much all it is accomplishing....
