Giving the 1st commandments first priority

1st commandment

 

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might

( Deuteronomy 6:4-5). Jesus confirmed it in the gospels that this is the greatest of all commandments.

 

Today, people are all confused about what is the newest trend in ministry. Make no mistake about it. This is what God wants to be first in your life. This is what God wants to be first in your ministry. God wants the first commandments to be first . Hear it from the lips of Jesus Himself. He said " Hear O Israel". And He said the same thing to the church: do not loose your first love.

 

That is why I will never apologize for cultivating more love for God. I will never apologize for "wasting" my time at the feet of Jesus. I will never apologize for chasing after Him , so captivated by him that I just cant get enough. After all ,we have been created to love God with all our hearts and to be loved by Him .

Oh, to be in the presence of Jesus more and more! What can even come close  to comparing? Absolutely nothing!

When you said you would never apologize for time at the feet of Jesus, a poem I wrote came to mind. It was about this (as brought forth in the situation with Mary and Martha in scripture.) 

I hope it blesses you and all those who read it.

SITTING AT THE FEET OF JESUS

Sitting at the feet of Jesus
There's no better place to be
Basking in His holy presence
Is sheer joy for all who see

Mary knew this was 'the better'
Though her sister Martha said
"Tell her, Lord to come and help me
people here must soon be fed"

Mary fed upon His nearness
Naught could sway her from this place
She was quenched with living water
She was filled with blessed grace

Martha meant to please the master
What she did had purpose, too
But her sister held the secret
Of which many never knew

That when Jesus speaks, to listen
He has precious truths to hear
Taking time to just enjoy  
The Savior who had drawn her near

Let us be very careful about something .    Their is also a very new trend in most minisitry that focuses on this love ,  Yet it truly denies both the father and the son .

IF we truly DO have the real agape love from GOD then our messages will mimic ALL things JESUS said and the apostels said and taught .

It will in no way leave off real godly correction , it will in no way represent any JESUS that could deny his own gospel .   That HE must be believed from the heart

and ,  and confessed with the MOUTH .

IF we truly LOVE GOD above all things ,  THEN WE Truly love what he loves and would be able to then see clearly on how to truly warn and exhort all .

There is a huge move that has been pouring down From Rome and many protestant leaders that will focus on having unity , love and etc , AND YET its all false .

Its not the right type of LOVE .  FOR no love that comes FROM GOD would ever embrace any sin , nor fail to warn any brother or sister in error , TO NOT REPENT asap of that error .

I will give you some names to beware of , in case you don't know , beware of rome , beware of nar , beware of hillsong , and emergent , beware of rick warren

and all this bridge builders community work plan stuff they taught .   Its all been a deception , and it knows how to seduce and allure . IT knows how to use all the right words

and yet not the true GODLY version of those words . IT knows how to focus on key elements , like DOING GOOD etc , and yet JESUS IS NOT THE CENTER .

IF HE was ,  they would sound much more like the apostels who were dire fast to correct and to build up .

Beware for many churchs have already long been infected with it and it will get worse .    I am not saying you are attached to this in any way .   But just saying beware it .

Ps .    Be encouraged warrior .    YES GOD must be loved above all , and then from that LOVE we can see clearly how to love the other .

I was just reminding us all about this dangerous new trend that most are falling under .

Put those hands up WARRIOR  and praise the HOLY KING CHRIST JESUS .

TO HONOR LOVE GOD above all ,   IS the exact mind we are to have .     And let us all avoid the false trend and FOLLOW the LAMB and the ORIGINAL PATH faithful to the end .

REJOICE in the LORD warrior ,   OH YES REJOICE IN THE LORD .  And in all that we do or say , LET US HONOR HIM .

We stand in Jesus’ name and reject false unity because that’s not the way to Heaven. Jesus told us so.

It is a blessing to hear you say that it matters not what the current trends are. It is the old fashioned gospel message of loving Jesus above all that matters.

Another thing I hear mentioned a lot on the News is the “post Christian world”.

Well, we are not a part of that and never will be. 

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

@frienduff thaylorde speaks right about being in the end times.

We are for Jesus and only Him. He is the way, the truth and the life.

Enter through the narrow gateway to Heaven, which is Jesus.
