4 tomatoes, peeled and sliced

10 fresh basil leaves, chopped

1/2 cup chopped green onion

1 (9-inch) prebaked deep dish pie shell

1 cup grated mozzarella

1 cup grated cheddar

1 cup mayonnaise

Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place the tomatoes in a colander in the sink in 1 layer. Sprinkle with salt and allow to drain for 10 minutes.

Layer the tomato slices, basil, and onion in pie shell. Season with salt and pepper. Combine the grated cheeses and mayonnaise together. Spread mixture on top of the tomatoes and bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.

To serve, cut into slices and serve warm.

This is called Tomatoe Pie. This is one of my favorite dishes in the world!

7 eggs

1 C sugar

1 1/2 C cream of wheat

7 C milk

3 Tblsp. butter salted

Phyllo dough

3/4 C melted butter

Syrup::: 2 C sugar, 1 C water, 1 Tbsp. lemmon juice

Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Add cream of wheat and milk. Cook over low heat until mixture thickens. Stir constantly. Remove from heat and add butter. Butter a baking pan and lay 2/3 phyllo sheets-brushing each sheet with the melted butter. Spread the milk mixture over phyllo sheets and turn in edges of phyllo sheets. Cover the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing with butter. Cut through the first three layers in 3" squares and sprinkle with water.

Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.

For the syrup, boli the ingredients. Pour it luke warm over the pie.

My hubby always says I may as well be a veggie. I'm not a real big meat eater. Don't get me wrong I will eat a burger once in a while or a steak. I like Chicken best but I can't cook that everynight of the week.

We buy our beef local. You cant believe the difference in taste. Its amazing really. The only thing I won't do is pick the cow :) I refuse to see it before I cook it. :24: The local farmer is really good about it though...he knows as soon as I give my name and how much we want to purchase hes not to ask me to come "have a look"...we usually call a couple of weeks in advance as we don't buy a whole cow, the farmer has to wait for another similar order so he can do it all at once.

Baked 'Taters...yummmmmm...pasta.....yummmmm....gotta have milk though we also buy that from local farmer....its pasturized of course but there are no extra chemical in it...tastes wonderful...a gallon won't last as long as the supermarket brand...but we go through milk fast so we've never had it spoil on us.

Now that I've rambled on and on...gotta go rub my fingers :P

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
