I drink bottle water. I personally can not stand the taste of the "city water" that flows through the taps. But that is just me. I'm also picky about what bottle water I buy. It just cant be just any bottle water. It has to be purified using reverse osmosis. Or it dose not taste right to me. That is just how I am.

How much does it cost for one litre of bottled water ?

Perhaps, but cooking does not purify. To fully disinfect requires boiling for one half hour three separate times at 24 hour intervals. Don't think they had autoclaves with them. I doubt that they had chlorine tablets either.

Water was an issue a serious one that led to disobedience and it's consequence. Ref: Exodus 17

Personally I like salt and sugar free tonic water at about one dollar US per liter from Ingles Grocery stores.

Or I will buy Castle in the Clouds treated  spring water from above lake Winnipesaukee NH. Or  even Wallyworld purified water. I found having one's own distiller to be a hassle. My local city water  is not what I wish to drink for the city  equipment does not regulate very well the amount of chlorimine. Sometimes I get a stinging shot of it in shower water. I complain often about it and they go fix the system.

Since God makes provision for the funds to buy water I simply give thanks to him for that provision and enjoy. Bottoms up, ah sparkling tonic water.

Locally fresh very clean spring water bubbles to the surface even in the salt waters. if one pays attention  the flow can be noticed a pvc pipe stuck down into it and clean drinkable water obtained. One can be mighty poor here and still have good water and food.

Praise God for the provisions.

Praise Him for sending the saints that go into areas  where there is little clean water, to bring water and to establish wells for local clean water supply.

As to cost for water city water is just a little less than bottled water. By the time add on  fees for sewer  and runoff water fees, plus tax and franchise fees that are all  related to water consumption  it does cost about the same as bottled water on sale.

I've never had trouble drinking plumbing water, that I am aware of.

Two things .  don't never eat Colorado brownies and don't ever drink texas water .

We had a collie years and years ago ,  and it used to drink the tap water .    THE DOG went blind .

Course whether the cause was the water ,  I know not , but what I do know is , DONT DRINK IT .

Not any longer. There are microbial organisms, plus petroleum distillates, and pesticide contaminants in our drinking water now, and is heavily chlorinated. The stuff tastes like bleach and it's awful!

Yes, I do. Also, for the sake of the expense, I have a faucet filtration device which helps somewhat. I'm sure it doesn't get everything out, but it's better than tap water.

I don't see record of this in the Old Testament.
