HE IS OUR ENEMY

Satan: 52 times - means “accuser”

The Accuser of the Brethren: 1 time (Revelation 12:10)

Devil: 34 times - meaning “slanderer” (one who makes false accusations)

        John 8:44 [Jesus to the Pharisees] "You are of your father the Devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.” (NAS)

The Deceiver: (Revelation 12:9)

Liar and “the Father of lies”: (John 8:44)

Tempter: 2 times

Ruler of this world: 3 times (Jn 12:31, Jn 14:30, Jn 16:11)

God of this Age: (2Corinthians 4:4)

    The prince and power of the air:
    
        Ephesians 2:2  “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience”

    Ruler of Demons: 4 times (Matt 9:34, Matt 12:24, Mar 3:22, Lk 11:15)  Satan and his demons are fallen rebel angel spirit beings.  

        Jude 1:6 “And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling-- these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.” (NIV)

Disguises himself as an angel of light in order to deceive.  (2Cor 11:14)

Evil One: 5 times (Matt 5:37, Matt 6:13, Lk 11:4, Jn 17:15, 2Thess 3:3)

Belial: (2Cor 6:15) meaning “vileness”

The Enemy or Adversary: (1Peter 5:8)  

Murderer: (John 8:44)

Like a roaring lion:
 
        1 Peter 5:8  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

Abaddon and Apollyon: both mean “destroyer” (Revelation 9:11)

    Beelzebub: 3 times in parallel Gospels - meaning lord of the house, used as a common name for the Ruler of Demons

    Prince of Persia: (Daniel 10:20) This may be a high demon.  It is not specific.  Only that Gabriel the angel from the LORD who came to Daniel, would later fight with “the Prince of Persia”.  

HIS BEGINNING

Lucifer: meaning “Light Bearer” or Day Star (Isaiah 14:12)

    NOTE:  The true Day Star is Jesus (Revelation 22:16). He is “the Light” (John 1:9).  Satan wanted this highest position.  He wanted to supercede the Son of God.  His jealousy caused his “fall”.

Son of the Morning: (Isaiah 14:12)

Anointed covering cherub: (Ezekiel 28:14)

    The two covering cherub on the Ark of the Covenant, show us that this position was closest to GOD Himself.

HIS FALL

Created being:  

        Ezekiel 28:15 “You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.

Fallen Angel:

        Isaiah 14:12 "How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations!” (NAS)

Serpent of Old:
    
        Revelation 12:9 “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

        The Devil used a tree snake in the Garden of Eden, to speak lies to Eve about GOD
        (Gen.Cpt 3).

HIS FUTURE

        Revelation 12:7-10 “And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. And the dragon and his angels waged war, 8 and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.  (NAS)

     BOUND 1000 YEARS

        Revelation 20:1-2 “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.  He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;”

        Revelation 20:3 “and he cast him into the bottomless pit [the abyss], and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.”

        This is where Satan gets the name “Angel of the Abyss”.  

     RELEASED from the Abyss - then final war - then finally thrown into the LAKE of FIRE
 
        Revelation 20:10 [At the final Gog/Magog Battle] “and the Devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet were [thrown Rev 19:20], and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever [unto the age of the ages]. ESV

Hi, There is no undoing the wrath of God upon Lucifer. That is separate from can evil do good or good works. I suggest that evil counterfeits good as a distraction. There are ministries  that do good, but are resources of Satan. The good works done by them are the shiny things that glitter to distract the seer of them from what evil is doing,  trying to take the glory which is God's alone.

The Bible reveals that satan will be cast into the eternal Lake of fire where He will be tormented day and night forever and ever.. 

The Bible only reveals that Repentance is an option for human beings.. It never states that the rebellious angels like satan where offered such an option..
