I was baptized in an Episcopal church being sprinkled in front of the congregation. I don’t feel like I’ve been truly baptized. I should get immersed? So glad you desire to be water baptised - fully immersed. It shows that we `die with Christ and then rise to new life in Christ.` Jesus said to his disciples, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you, and lo I am with you always, even to the end of the afe.` (Matt. 28: 18 - 20) So I believe a mature believer can baptise you, or you can go to any of the fellowship groups (churches) such as Baptist, Pentecostal etc who will baptise you. all the best, and praying for you and your family. First of all Baptism is not a salvation issue. I person will get to heaven if they have not been baptized. Any born again true Christian can perform a Baptism. Being immersed is preferred. If that is not possible then sprinkling would be ok. You Baptize a person in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Only Jesus has the authority to baptize with the one Baptism that matters (i.e. salvation). Ephesians 4:5 (NASB95) 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, You are either baptized by the Holy Spirit (saved) or you will be baptized with fire (lost). The Apostle Paul wrote: 1 Corinthians 1:14 (NASB95) 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, If water baptism was so crucial a thing... HOW could Paul have written this? But it is not mandatory or required for salvation. Have a good plunge!

Just remember, that if you don't get baptised now, you will be unbaptised for eternity.

You only need do it once. If you were 'sprinkled' and understood it, then the heavenly host are you witnesses. There has been so much 'theology' about this that a normal person can be confused. If you actually read the baptismal rites of the major Christian Religions you will find a miasma of conflicting concepts. In those cases it was more about member control than any blessings. My own personal opinion is that only members of the clergy are authorized to baptize. I was baptized as a baby in an Episcopal Church. I'm sure I wasn't immersed. I haven't since been re-baptized. If it would make you feel better, have another baptism and be immersed.
