Friday 4-3-20, Nisan 9, 5780 6th. day of the weekly cycle, 15th. Spring day

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew Twenty Four:30

Matthew Twenty Four:26-31

The Return of the Son of Man

(Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-28)

26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Love always, Walter and Debbie

You forget that Paul had a Secret Meeting with Jesus In the Desert.

Jesus taught us to pray in the secret place. The above scripture  about the return of the Lord has nothing to do with encountering the Lord in the secret place. The secret place in the context of prayer is the place of intimacy.

@Cornelius10, What are you talking about, scripture please, and what do your statement have to do with the OP?

@Cornelius10

Do you know the Lord.  Have you ever encounter the resurrected Christ like the apostle Paul did,  that your life thereafter became radically changed?  Paul had an encounter with him on the road to Damascus and it changed him from Saul of tarsus persecutor of the Christians to the greatest missionary the church has ever seen.

When you know him,  the holy spirit will then teach you and give you an understand of scripture.

Paul's conversion. those with him nether saw or heard Jesus, thus it was secret,

Act 9:7  And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

Act 22:9  And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

I assume the road to Damascus is in the desert.

@Cornelius10, yes I understand what you are saying, but what do that have to do with the OP/Matthew 24:30 tittled: "The Second Coming"

Yes, i have actually heard the Lord Speak to me twice.

I met Jesus Personally twice also.

That is 4 times I have met with God.

How many times has God LITERALLY talked to you?

I commune with him everyday and more than once .The holy spirit will always lead you to behold  the Person of Jesus and to fall so in love with him.

Jesus says my sheep hear my voice. We are meant to know his voice, obey him and  follow his leading everyday not just 4 times.

Are you sure that it was God speaking to you ? when it's him, it does not contradict his word.

I would be careful if I was you. When you are not well grounded in the word, one can easily get deceived since Satan can be transformed as an angel of light.

The scripture that @Walter and Deborah has quoted relates to the second coming. He is coming with clouds of glory and every eye will see him ( Revelation 1 ). Have you ever done a study on clouds? It's the  transportation of the divine. Daniel also saw the Son of man coming with clouds

It has nothing to do with meeting with the Lord in the secret place of encounter.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
