I guess you determine what is true science and what is not.

True science affirms what the Bible says, or at least does not contradict it.

If "science" says that life came from non-life, by random chance, then, over many millions of years, evolved into mankind, then it is false "science".

This is how we know it's symbolic.

The Bible is literal and symbolic. There can be many levels and layers of meaning.

God knows the end from the Beginning. If you understand the very first word in the Bible: "Beginning" you will understand all of the Bible. John 1:1 tells us: "In the beginning was the word".

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." So now we have three words: beginning, word and God.

Jeremiah 1:12 "I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled"

In the beginning was the word of God. God is watching over His word to for fill and do, what He said He is going to do. We can have faith, trust and believe that God is going to do what He tells us He is going to do.

Can the answers to those questions be found in the Bible in its “original language”?

Genesis 1:26 says: " “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness,"

So what is the meaning of the word: "mankind"? אָדָ֛ם ’ā-ḏām

Who or what is Adam? The three Hebrew letters have meaning. The first letter has to do with Heaven and Earth. Jesus teaches us to pray: Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

There are many many books of science that teach us about Adam, the cells, the mind, and all of that. We know that God breathed life into Adam. It is our breath that gives us life. If our heart quits beating, or if we quit breathing, we die very fast. As they say, we are a breath from death. Science teaches us about the cell and how the cell uses oxygen.

The next letter is a staff used by a shephard. Man is given dominion and authority in the Earth. We are joint Heirs with Christ. I follow the teaching of Rabbi Trugman on YouTube to study the meaning of each Hebrew letter. That helps us to begin to understand the meaning of the Hebrew words.

We are told to love the lord our God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. Also the Bible talks about blood and how Jesus sacrificed His Blood fore us. So we can be washed and cleansed in the Blood. These words have a lot of meaning and science helps us to understand the meaning of the word we read in our Bible.

God is infinite and every word has infinite meaning. We could study just one word in the Bible our whole life and we would still only be starting to understand. A man will study all his life, then another man comes along and picks up where he left off. Maybe three generations, three lifetimes will go into trying to understand one word in the Bible and we will just be getting started.

There is a very great deal of science contained within the Scriptures, beginning with the Sentence of the First Chapter of the First Book.

Hi ChemEngineer,

Thank you for all that great information. I will copy it and share with friends.

What is the meaning of the word "us" and how did the Jewish writers interpret this?

We or us they say refers to God and the Angles.

There really is no us. The word:

נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה
na-‘ă-śeh

Suggests that God will make man the way you grow food from the ground to reveal Himself (we or us) in Adam. God is looking for a Tabernacle, He wants to become part of His Creation and dwell with man.

Do you believe the angels were involved in creation?  Where do you see the Jewish people espouse this idea.

We read in Job 38 "6On what were its foundations set, or who laid its cornerstone, while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?"

I am doing a study of the Hebrew language from Rabbi Trugman, that does not mean I accept or endorse their teaching in the areas you are trying to get into. We can look at the Hebrew language and get deeper insight.

A performer often has a troupe of 100 people that travels with them and supports what they are doing. Esp if they put on live performances.

When it comes to the Rabbi, I am a watcher to be sure. Although they say God gives special consideration to people who study under the Rabbi. Even the Hasidic feel their calling is to teach Kabbalah to people that are not Hasidic.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
