Finally your statement is reflective of the general systemic attitude of anti-semitism adopted by the Catholic church and accepted by Protestantism.

Israel has not been set aside permanently. Some churches do indeed say God has cast aside Israel and say the church replaces it, or that the church is Israel, which obliterates the literal future of Israel.

My view puts Israel in the program of reconciling the earth back to God in the future.

Try looking at a complete passage (Hebrews 9:11-28) rather than cutting up God's Word into little bits of confetti to be used to justify an aberrant dogma.

I will take up your assertion and see if my dogma changes.
Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Christ came a high priest by a heavenly tabernacle.

9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Aaron and his sons entered by the blood of animal sacrifice, Christ by his own blood.

9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The blood of bulls and goats purified only the flesh; the blood of Christ purged the conscience.

9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Christ is the mediator of the new testament, to redeem the transgressions Israel committed under the first testament.

9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

The death of a testator was required to activate a testament, but not for a covenant.

9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

The first testament required blood, which foreshadowed Christ's blood.

9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Blood was required for remission of sin.

9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Only one sacrifice of Christ put away sin.

9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

When Christ returns he will establish the new covenant with Israel and the once blood sacrifice of the new testament will allow God to be just to forgive Israel their sins under the old testament and their present sins in the millennium.

Finally, the offer of repentance and salvation is continually offered to Israel, not just once-upon-a-time.

Jews can now believe the gospel that Christ died for our sins and rose again and be put into the church, the body of Christ.

Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

This verse is not saying believers become Jews, in fact we are told in Christ there is neither Jew or Gentile in Galatians 3:28. This verse is saying that God does not accept a Jew just because he is born a Jew, but it is by faith.

Anti-semitic Christians teach that church membership is more efficacious for salvation than the blood of Christ.  Such an attitude is indicative of the traditions of the pharisees rather than the freedom of GRACE and the LAW.

that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

You can holler that and I will say amen.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

These verses are written to the body about the remnant of Israel, not the body of Christ.

Both Jew and Gentile could believe on the name of Jesus (not the cross yet) and have eternal life....they could call on THE NAME of the Lord Jesus to be saved. They then had to openly confess his name.

Yes, it's the exact same gospel to the Jew first and then to the Gentile.  Jesus came first to His own, to Israel.  Paul was particularly anointed and sent to the uncircumcision to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, and Peter was particularly anointed to preach this same gospel to the Jews.

Gal 2:7-8

But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

(For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles)

Congratulations on that baby in your picture.

I must say, that Peter did not preach the same gospel as Paul, although there are similarities:

Here are differences in preaching between the twelve apostles and the apostle Paul:
1) The name of Jesus
The twelve preached whosoever believed in the name of Jesus was saved (John 1:12 John 3:16-18 John 20:31 Acts 10:43). There was no mention of reconciliation by the cross (Colossians 1:20), and in fact the understanding of the death and resurrection was hid from the twelve (Luke 18:34).
Paul preached salvation in the name of Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:2 1 Corinthians 6:11 Ephesians 5:20) and by the cross (1 Corinthians 1:18 Colossians 1:20 Galatians 6:14 Ephesians 2:16).
2) Baptism
The twelve preached salvation upon baptism (Acts 2:38 Mark 16:16)
Paul was not sent to baptize (1 Corinthians 1:17)
3) The Holy Ghost
The twelve preached the receiving of the Holy Ghost upon baptism (Acts 2:38).
Paul preached that the Holy Ghost was received upon belief (Ephesians 1:13).
4) The kingdom
The twelve preached the kingdom gospel of the earthly Davidic kingdom (Luke 9:2 Luke 9:6).
Paul spoke of a heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18).
5) The resurrection
The twelve preached Jesus raised from the dead to sit upon the throne of David (Acts 2:30).
Paul preached that Jesus was raised for our justification unto eternal life (Romans 4:25).
6) Salvation
The twelve preached salvation at the coming of Christ (Acts 3:19 1 Peter 1:5 1 Peter 1:7).
Paul preached salvation now (Ephesians 2:8).
7) Forgiveness
The twelve preached forgiveness at the coming of Christ (Acts 3:19).
Paul preached forgiveness now in Christ (Colossians 1:14).
8) Destination
The twelve were appointed to judge the twelve tribes in the Davidic kingdom on earth (Luke 22:30). The twelve preached that believing Israel would be given the earthly kingdom (Luke 12:32).
Paul preached the heavenly places for the body of Christ (Ephesians 2:6).
Here are the similarities between the twelve and Paul:
1) The name of Jesus
The twelve preached the name of Jesus (John 1:12).
Paul preached the name of Jesus (Acts 9:29 Romans 1:5 1 Corinthians 1:2).
2) Jesus the Christ, the Son of God
The twelve preached Jesus as Christ, the Son of God (Matthew 16:16).
Paul preached Jesus as Christ, the Son of God (2 Corinthians 1:19).
3) The gospel of Christ
The twelve preached the gospel of Christ (Mark 1:1).
Paul preached the gospel of Christ (Romans 1:16) but with further revelations made known to him by revelations of the Lord Jesus Christ ( 2 Corinthians 12:7 Ephesians 3:2-7).
It can be decided upon comparing scripture as to whether or not the apostles all preached the same thing.

The fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:31-34 happened at the day of Penticost

Sorry, but no, this was according to Peter a fulfillment of Joel 2:29. This was interrupted however by the rejection of Israel and our dispensation of grace.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
