I'm going to respectfully disagree with you on this part because I feel that some have lost sight of what a church is supposed to be. It's good and important to be able to go somewhere to pray and worship with other believers, but at the same time it seems many have slipped away from things like meaningful fellowship and mutual support.

Being disabled and shut in myself I really hear you on this one. Sometimes I do struggle with feeling like I'm not a very good Christian on account of not being able to get out and attend church or do things within a local church community. The internet and Worthy have both been a real blessing on that front.

 And again, are you involved with a local body  of Christ Jesus? I ask because  knowing that makes a major difference  in knowing what is going on.  It helps define the vantage point from which your conclusion comes. People on the outside have very little idea of what  any local body  of Christ Jesus might be doing, or not doing for they are blind to it all.

Reading over this it seems that vic66 is stuck in his believe that God only works from inside a church building,and that  you have church one way and one way only.  Some people are like that. They get something in their head and there is no changing it no matter what. It is just too bad. But that seems to be how it is for him.

Danial was commanded not to pray for thirty days yet he continued to pray was he in sin for disobeying  the kings decreed although away one else obeyed the kings decree(here nothing is said of the three hebrew boys)

No one has commanded us not to pray. But I do understand why you see it that way. With your mind set that we can only pray inside of a church building. So this is more of your hang up and not ours.

I am not having a dig at disable people, we all get sick from time to time

what is being looked at is closing down of church fellowships by unsaved non Christians
