So I ask, if Satan flees from you TODAY, will he never try to attack you again? We know he will return especially when we sin. The SAME WORD in the Greek used in ALL New Testament references means the same as Satan flees today but he will return again. I am quite sure of one thing: you will not be convinced of a NEW heaven and earth until you see it. In the same way, I will not be convinced of the old renewed unless I see it. I trust what I read: the old disappears, the New is created. And in the Greek New means NEW: as in wine in NEW bottles. As in a NEW covenant vs the old. As in a NEW tomb: not used before. The key issue for me is the fact the SAME WORD is being used for all of fled/flee. And that SAME WORD has the SAME DEFINITION when applied every time it is used. And the definition is consistently going away to return later. It's plain Greek and you are taking the English translation as Gospel. Sorry, this judgment is to see who will enter the 1000 year reign. The Great, White Throne judgment comes after the 1000 years. They are different judgments over 1000 years apart. You are making a decision using 1/3 of the Greek text available. Add to the fleeing that no place was found for them, and add to that the New Heaven and New earth.
