If you are a Christian then you are a child of God.

This world will call you worthless, dirty, reject and more but Jesus said that they would say that in the bible.

The truth is that you are beautiful because of the Holy Spirit inside you. You are clean because of the blood of Jesus. You are precious and accepted by Jesus.

The truth does not change.

Do we live up to what we are?

 

Does the world have any idea and is there rejection of us because we are a reflection of Jesus?

Eph. 1:3   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, ⁴ just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, ⁵ having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, ⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Eph. 1:13   In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, ¹⁴ who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

When the world gives us negative feelings about ourself, we can just go back to the facts of the bible that say we are beloved and precious children of God.

If you dont already, then you need to learn to live by the facts of the bible and not feelings. The bible does not change and is the truth. Feelings are wobbly and can lead you astray. The bìble is the Word and the Word is Jesus; your steadfast and firm anchor.

Knowing and learning the bible may sound boring at first but when you have learnt some verses and then those verses start popping up in the way that you live (they come to life), it is far from boring.

An example is when you help the poor. You get a Luke 6:38.
