If you suspect it is a mail client that did this. Uninstall it and reinstall it. Alway keep mail and things like that decentralised, i.e. web based so you can recover stuff. Do not ever trust a stand alone device since it may fail. Nowadays, there are all kinds of free cloud storage methods. Use those and just sync with your local device. I can lose absolutely everything (locally) and yet not lose a single email or picture. Microsoft and gulag have free cloud storage.

Well, I have a Google device so when I got it, I had to make a Gmail account.   So last night, I wanted a new email name....so that's why I made the new email account.   About 10 minutes ago, the tablet did tell me to Sync....so I think I did that.   Not sure what it means.   Does it mean my info would be on all Google devices?   Right now I only have my Google Android tablet.

Most likely you synced to goolag servers. Goolag is known to not like competitors...

Because it is Android, there are many free apps. My phone is android, yet I disallow all gulag's probing and their intent to gestalt me into their hive.

You can also delete gulag stuff, though they make that difficult sometimes.

It was another Gmail (Google) account I made last night.   I did notice in the past, some Gmail people wouldn't get my Yahoo emails.   So that's why I usually Gmail to another Gmail person.

What many do not realise is that goolag filters most all mail thru its servers one way or another. That is why I use GMX or MAIL.com. They are German. For secure stuff I use Protonmail.com. (Swiss). Those email companies prevent gulag from sniffing. Also as a search engine for many many years I have used DUCKDUCKGO. They do not snoop either.

Thanks much for the advice!   Do appreciate your helping me.

Maybe when I get the next Google update, that might clear the notification.   But at least it isn't happening as often now.

Turning in now.   Talk later today.

That's what I'm afraid of!!!

Setting to factory means that it will be as it was when it was new. It also means that any updates it may have received will also be gone.

Yes, I didn't want to reset the whole tablet...not sure about the outcome.   Not even sure about deleting the Gmail app and reinstalling it.   Maybe that's a possibility?   Anyhow, I can live with the little notice now and then....just not sure what that function does.   Android.process.acore.

Android.process.acore is one of the common error messages for android users caused when cache data is corrupted. Hence whenever your device tries to contact the cache for running background it throws a crash report.

Unlike other answers, it is not just limited to mobile, it happens to android based TVs and other devices too.

Reasons for this error:

  • Contacts app data error
  • System apps disabled or deleted by mistake
  • Installing custom ROM
  • Error while upgrading OS
  • Virus attack

And the reason for this error is not just because of contacts or any single particular apps. Although it can be solved easily with simple steps.

NOTE: Kindly back up the contacts and necessary data from your mobile just in case not to suffer from data loss.

Methods to resolve:

  1. Contacts (Common in mobiles)
    1. Go to Settings > Applications manager > Contacts > Storage > Clear data and then tap on Clear cache.
    2. Switch off your mobile for a minute or two and then switch on your device.
    3. This will resolve the issue for 70% of cases. If the issue is not solved follow proceed to next step.
  2. Repairing the system apps disabled or deleted by mistake
    1. Download Android Data Extraction app from its official website and install in your PC.
    2. Connect the android device to your PC and launch the software. Click "Broken Android Data Extraction" on the left side and follow the guide to enter download mode.
      1. If your android stays in the broken screen, black screen or other faults > select the first option > start.
      2. If the system of your Android is damaged > click the second option > start.
      3. Select your problem from the list (if your problem is not listed, click others) and continue.
      4. Select your device name > model > Confirm.
    3. This will finish the recovering and repair process.
    4. Restart your Android device.
  3. Update errors
    1. Bugs from previous updates and minor corrupted files often result in this error message.
    2. Check for updates (especially for mailboxes and cloud services) and install it. This could stabilize the Android OS.
    3. Or else, just uninstall it and restart the device and then install it fresh. This method accounts for about 5% for this particular error.
  4. Factory Reset

CAUTION: Data loss is to be expected, so make sure you back up all the data you need.

    1. If none of the above methods is working then the final way is to do a factory reset.
      1. Go to Settings > Back up and reset
      2. Select Factory Reset.
    2. This wipes data and resets your mobile completely fresh as new.
    3. This method has the highest success rate “if” the above methods aren’t working.
main-qimg-40083f3f50b3c682e56f9aead0c3012e

All these above methods are tested and proved. If the problem continues even after the factory reset, then the problem might be either your phone has hardware issues or it is so old and at verge of being outdated. Both of these needs technical assistance from official tech support. I hope it doesn’t go that far.

Found this fix on the Internet.

Thanks @Coliseum I wish I was more knowledgeable about such things.   It is pretty much Greek to me!

For now, I am still putting up with the little notice... it's infrequent now.

New problem just started.   I was writing a couple of emails from my Gmail account.   Apparently they are not being sent out.   Usually after it is sent, the email will appear in my sent folder.   Now nothing is there.

I was going to try to get rid of the new Gmail account I made the other night, since that is when the little problem of the error message started.   But I don't see how to remove an email account, even though I went to accounts under System.

I do have a Yahoo account.   But the Gmail is connected to my Android tablet.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
