Agreed. You might find strength comes when you act. Like a faith token. God is Omnipotent and Omnipresent and misses nothing. I have seen Him act when I felt like death warmed up, but I just did it anyway. Wow. Amazing!

It's not the forces outside the church one must regard with suspicion.   It is the leaders within who have betrayed the gospel.  False shepherds now guide those who seek solace and comfort in the Name of Jesus.

None of this happened overnight and none of it happened secretly.   Theologians of the last half of the twentieth century predicted exactly this condition.   Statistical organizations like PEW and Gallup gave us numbers to show the path we have chosen for ourselves.  (*)

The post-protestant church has abandoned all Biblical precepts of morality and salvation and is now a pathetic series of financial franchises - all on the verge of a gigantic monetary collapse.

Instead of the Water of Life our snake-oil salesmen now pitch doctrines of demons to people with itching ears and a false sense of love to those who deny the morality of spiritual responsibility.  Every false sermon comes at a price.  The price is dictated by denial of the LAW of salvation and the only real hope of redemption - Jesus Christ.

The church today is ICHABOD (1 Samuel 4:21).  In the past, allusions to the church of Laodicea were given as a warning.   Those days are gone.  The post-protestant church has crossed the Rubicon and IS Ichabod now.  Churning along in spiritual darkness, the rudderless church now embraces every aberration it encounters.  Beware the lies of the false shepherds.  They lead only to destruction.

The only thing that can save the church now is repentance - a subject rarely addressed in sermons today.   We hear more about tithing than repentance when it should be the other way around.

NOW IS THE TIME FOR REPENTANCE.

Believe not the false shepherds of the church.....

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LICENSE TO SIN.

(*) Statistically the number of people attending church on a regular basis, measured as a minimum of one visit per month, fell to 50% of 1948 levels in the year 2010.  Projections of the trend predict the level will continue to decrease to 10% by 2050.

Paul tells us all unbelievers are possessed of Satan: 

“You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.” (Ephensians 2:2 NLT) 

it reminds me of Agent Smith in The Matrix Trilogy, who could take over anyone plugged in the Matrix.

Did you ever notice in The Matrix Reloaded, when Neo is in a market to go to The Oracle and fights Seraph, it pans on a picture of Jesus Sacred Heart a while and then on Neo, giving you the heads up that Neo is messianic character.

We are indeed seeing with these people seeking to destroy crosses, statues of saints and historical figures the fufillement of: 

“For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.” (2 Timothy 3:2)

I did yes. Of course there is nothing new about  Christ-like characters to appear in literature or movies
