May I also encourage you to find a different church, try the christianityexplored web site or just contact other churches in your town. The ministers will know what your 'old' church teaches and will be able to offer you help and advice. A question for you. ,What is it that you think makes you a Christian? Jesus created the universe with a word, his rightousness has paid for All the world's sin. So he is more than able to deal with your sin. Please talk to a Christian minister and may I suggest you spend more time thanking Jesus for what he ha done than in confessing your past sins.

Confess your sins, then know that you are forgiven as 1 John 1:9 promises us. Then seek to walk with Jesus in your daily life with His help. Seek out a sound church and perhaps talk to the pastor. It sounds like you were brought up under condemnation, rather than being correctly taught about the true meaning of salvation through Jesus Christ.

I don't know how to beat it =(. Also, Hebrews 10:26 has bothered me also. However, the past is the past and you can't change it. But you can change the future. Although i struggle with sin, people who have had tours of hell say that ONE unrepentant sin will block heaven when you die and you go to hell. Look up Bill Wiese 23 minutes in hell or just google him. He says one sin sends you to hell. Jesus showed him hell and sent him on a mission to tell everyone because to many people don't believe in hell. But here's the good news. It doesn't matter how bad you are, if you ask for forgiveness and GENUINELY repent then you will be forgiven. When Hitler was in his bunker and about to suicide, if he had given his life to Christ and faced what he did (he would've got the death penalty) then he would be in heaven right now. So cheer up, dear, it's not to late for you. It doesn't matter how bad you are as long as you change before you die. People don't go to hell for 'many' or 'really bad' sins. Christ already died and payed the price for our sins and is willing to forgive anyone. People go to hell because they reject Gods offer of salvation AND fail to repent. I recommend that you put the past behind you, confess all your sins and ask for forgiveness and then genuinely repent and you will go to heaven when you die. As for Hebrews 10:26, yeah, it does say your damned. So am i according to that cos i can't stop masturbating after several weeks, it's to much for me. But you can't change the past just change the future, ok?

You either obey your Lord, or you should question if He really is your Lord! It does not matter what the excuse is, people can find them all over the place. Any doctrine can humanized sort to speak and viewed and applied in an earthly way. I think theres eternal security in terms if you're trying and have a heart and willingness to do God's Will He'll keep you and enable you to do His Will. I do not believe that having once been convicted of sin and having called out to Jesus for salvation that subsequent sinning will result in loss of salvation, so long as you don't harden your heart and refuse his forgiveness. That means if you're worried about it, your fine. God is full of kindness, mercy and love. Keep turning to Jesus. Ask Him to forgive you and change you. I've been a Christian 35 years and still need to do this daily. But he has changed me. He is faithful. I've counselled people wh0've done a lot worse than you and seen them become upright decent people, who are devoted to the Lord. It can take a bit of time though. I would go up every Sunday and repent. This elderly women came up one Sunday crying saying .. how the devil has been lying to me. When we come to Christ and believe.. repent of our past. He comes in to our heart.. as Rev 3:20 says.If you know Jesus as lord ... He forgave you already.. . He can not die again. He does not condemn you. There is NO condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. Now though all your sins are forgiven.. we can still do the same sin.. and its wrong. But we come to Him.. if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness. A famous preacher (some would be shocked if they knew the name) said on the radio (no internet then) "I don't think anyone has sinned as much as me. Just get up, dust off and keep going". You just repent and KNOW He forgives you. You do NOT go by how you FEEL what you SEE or HEAR! You repent and He forgives you. So you must forgive your self. He alone is perfect. You are righteous because you believe in Jesus. If you never sinned.. you will would not be righteous. Our works are as rages to Him. Its ONLY through by CHRIST we are righteous. Simply believing in Jesus makes you righteous. And just live for Him. If you sin.. get up dust off and keep going...you just repent again KNOW He does forgive you. He is faithful! You confess your sins and no matter what you feel like. He did forgive you
