One could also claim the war with the saints has been ongoing for the last two thousand years. The beast, however, has a forty two month term in which Satan provides the beast his power. It is this power from the devil that will have all who are not written in the lambs book of life in total adoration of the dragon, the beast, and the beasts mouth. The saints, though they will not be in adoration of the beast, will nonetheless be overcome by the beast's fabulous hedonistic system, during the beasts forty two months in power.

You have to put scripture together with scripture to get a clearer picture of how things transpire.

Jesus is telling us, half the Church (Brides) will not make it to the Marriage in Heaven, the door will be shut to them, then they must go through a TIME OF TROUBLES that they needed not go through. 

Yes, the obvious as stated in scripture is the ten virgins representing the bride at the marriage of the Lamb. But when does this happen? And what is the cause for all ten being spiritually asleep? To get a clearer understanding, you can look at other scriptures that tell you what will have been going on throughout the world prior to the Lord's return and commencing to reign. Prior to the Lord's return and commencing to reign, the beast will have been reigning for forty two months due to the power the dragon will provide the beast. During these forty two months, all who are not written in the lambs book of life will be in total adoration of the dragon, the beast and the beast's mouth. While the saints, will not be in adoration of the beast's wonderful hedonistic system, they will nonetheless be overcome by its grandeur. The grandeur of the beast's system is therefore the cause for why the virgin/saints will be spiritually asleep when the Lord returns and commences to reign at the conclusion of the beasts 42 month reign.

The Rapture is pre tribulation. The SLEEP represents the Jewish Wedding Plan in general. The brides were always SLEEPING when the Bridegroom came for her, the father always sent the son just after midnight to get the bride. So of course they will be sleeping. God doesn't have to use each word in the same manner all the time. 

We know the day of the Second Coming, its 1260 days after the Beast comes to power. Most every Christian will be killed before the Second Coming by the Anti-Christ. None of the Raptures, other than pre trib can be correct sir. God Bless.

I understand by scriptures (the Word) that the Lord returns and commences to reign immediately upon the conclusion of the beasts 42 month reign. During this 42 month reign the saints are worn out (Daniel 7:25), by the great things the beasts mouth proclaims. If the saints are worn out and are unable to contend further with the great things the beasts mouth proclaims, the saints are then overcome by its grandeur and will be spiritually sleeping.

Yes, Revelation Man, I agree most Christians will be killed during the beasts 1,260 days (42 month) reign. Those killed are they who precede the remnant living saints in being caught up to God.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

And yet Scripture says the duration of waiting is the cause of the 10 virgins sleeping and slumbering, only 5 of whom turn out to be saints. I prefer to avoid theological gymnastics and misappropriations of content.

I agree that the duration of waiting for the Lord is the cause. Three and a half years of waiting while being worn out by the beasts mouth.

The beasts mouth, a.k.a., the little horn, and the Antichrist is a singular individual. Yes, there will be elements that advocate for the beasts mouths vision, but this 3.5 year period has yet to commence. By stating that some are now advocating the Antichrist's perspective, when much of the criteria for the Antichrist's 3.5 year reign has yet to commence, truly works for the devil by deflecting these to other entities.
