Communist leader Nikita Khrushchev said, “We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within....”

Well, based on what I'm witnessing, I'll disagree with "without firing a shot".

Daniel 5:5 (KJV) In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.

Are we getting some handwriting on our wall?

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Not a prophecy but a futile boast.  The ills that assail the west have nothing to do with communism or socialism but everything to do with spiritual blindness. Watch any popular TV program, you will hear people call on God who have no belief in him and if challenged would claim to be open minded or agnostic except the last place you will find them is in church.

The ideology of socialism and communism is sweeping through our country; in the form of laws, attitudes, public opinion, elections and politicians. Just like what happened in Russia, our traditions and history is being erased and destroyed.

I agree, it's spiritual blindness and I believe being turned over to a debased mind and the lust of their own flesh.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

If you are referring to the recent anarchy... not one Russian bullet has been spent.

The same was true during the Black Power movement and race riots in the 1960's

and Glasnost and Perestroika revealed documentation proving the Soviets were behind this unrest.

Atheism / humanism it's all satanic. Human nature, our human nature is of the devil (John 8:44).

The general point Jesus made in Matthew 16:13-23 is the contrast between the things of God and the

things of man (which Jesus attributed to the devil by calling Peter Satan).

Isaiah 64:6 (AV)
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

I say this because human nature and those who champion humanism and humanistic causes must be guarded against.

People accuse Christians, conservatives, people who simply believe in civilization as being narrow minded bigots and rather than running them out of our communities, we give them equal time from some screwball sense of faith play. ← which they are at least smart enough not to grant us when they are in the majority. They deride us for our intolerance (when we are actually the most tolerant in fact we are too tolerant and that's what grants them a toehold then a foothold and then a stronghold). And then they become totally intolerant of us.

We are at war.

Nothing new about that.  It's been going on for thousands of years. The Bible mentions the war against the flesh etc.

What scares and saddens me is how America was that great experiment that applied the Creator's laws and methods and

has been the most blessed nation on planet Earth ever.  To see it frittered away as we have turned from Christ to humanism.

We are in the world and the world is cursed.

When we stopped rowing against the rushing waters that led to the deadly waterfall, we lost the Christian blessing that kept us from plummeting

to our demise. I had hoped after getting over the shock of Trump's victory over the devil's daughter / heir apparent in 2016 that Christians,

conservatives, civilizationists would have another chance...

Midterm elections put the devil's party back in majority as they antagonized the heck out of the duly elected President who keeps his word and does his job.

Guess the Christians, conservatives, civilizationists all fell asleep

(or the DNC was able to pull off another rigged election). ← without prosecution like any of the others.

The joke is, in Cook County Illinois democratic voters can vote to the third generation after their death.

I'm guessing this thread will not last long (or be moved to politics) ← think I'll alert the management so it will survive there.

There is NO perfect ideology, no perfect political party, no perfect philosophy (left / right)... the rich will get richer no matter what the tax code is...

it just gets passed down to the working class.

The thing to do is choose the least worst in all thins in this fallen world filled with fallen human being and fallen angels.

Pick the philosophy and political party that benefits the most people.

Not your ideal of utopia. ← total myth in this world in this life

Tax the rich they stop making jobs and pass the tax back down to you.

Let the rich prosper and we benefit from the over spray of their prosperity.

Either way, they are going to prosper. Even if they have to leave America  again.

The Baby Boom Generation (born 1946 - 1964) was a silver spoon generation.

Our parents and grandparents grew up amidst two world wars and a depression sandwiched in between.

They essentially spoiled a generation (with good intentions, I'm blaming them for NOTHING). We grew up

we could have become responsible... realized we didn't have all the answers we thought we had... we were

too self absorbed and lazy to at least check into all the ways man has tried over the centuries to "change the

world." The world is cursed. No system / philosophy is perfect.

Again, only the least worst comes even close to being "best."

If we had researched this to cure our ignorance we would have discovered the American way was far above any other

way. But no. We plunged headlong into undermining America which took thousands of years to achieve.

Every protest became a cause.

Every cause became a chance for those in the media seeking fortune and fame to hitch their wagon to.

BLM is only the most recent of these "worthy causes."

If this is untrue, why aren't they in the ghettos and barrios of places like Chicago and New York reporting / investigating

why so many minorities are dying every day at the hands of people who aren't cops?

What tangible thing has the DNC done for these people? For any people in the blue collar class or below (financially speaking of course)?

Promises. We are for the workers... Horse feathers!

Fascism (the benefit of the elite few at the expense of the many) lives at both end of the spectrum.

Fair market Free Enterprise is the most difficult place to achieve or maintain.

As with a true pendulum the tendency is to swing to the opposite extreme.

I couldn't agree with you more, and in a round about way, that's why I made the post.

America, founded upon Judaeo / Christian principles and values, an experiment and most blessed nation ever to exist. Verses the satanic forces against it and greedy tyrants that want to suppress, enslave and control the people and the globe [human nature]. Satan comes to rob, deceive and kill.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Yes, it's been going on for thousands of years, but I wanted to make it personal and hit home, we're not exempt. This take over and rebellion has only been minor and in the shadows since our founding as a nation, but now it's gaining traction and steam, in the open and in your face. I used a relatively recent historical example pertaining to America, from an atheist tyrant who's prediction is coming to pass. We are being taken over by political correctness, socialism, communism; calling evil good and good evil.

Russia as a sovereign nation may not have taken U.S. over; but the manifesto, principles and ideology has taken hold in our changing laws, principles, schools, universities, culture, news media, politics and acceptance. Therefore; the atheist prophet's prediction [ideology] is coming to pass, from within.

The U.S. is the last bastion of freedom in the world. When we're gone or changed, when the restrainer [the Holy Spirit through the church] is removed; how long will it take for a one world government and a global leader to emerge?

Just my pondering's...

Seems we're pretty much of one accord and know a tidbit of biblical and secular history. The following seems to be a law and has been repeated time and again throughout history.

The Cycle of Nations: "From bondage to spiritual faith. From spiritual faith to great courage. From courage to liberty. From liberty to abundance. From abundance to selfishness. From selfishness to complacency. From complacency to apathy. From apathy to dependency. From dependency back again into bondage." --Sir Alex Fraser Tyler, A Scottish jurist and historian. Where would you say we are in this cycle?

If I only had four books to study to learn factual history, that would be required reading in all American schools; in order they would be:

(1) The word of God, the Bible. ~ God Himself

(2) The Law ~ Frederic Bastiat

(3) The Creature from Jekyll Island ~ G. Edward Griffin

(4) The Antiquities Of The Jews / The Wars Of The Jews ~ Flavius Josephus

'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. ' (George Santayana-1905).

By the Grace of God, we know our eventual destiny and future; and who wins in the end...

I am really sick of hearing this. This is victim mentality at it's best. Everyone is responsible for their own lives.

I am a baby boomer...yeah, we had it great. Our generation was the one who was drafted and sent to Vietnam. Did our veterans get the same respect as previous vets? No, they were spit upon and called baby killers. When I graduated high school, we were in the middle of record inflation and had to wait in long lines to MAYBE be able to buy gas for our cars to drive to work, if we even had a job to go to. Where was my silver spoon? My parents both worked really hard and sometimes we barely made it.

In the middle of this, if we couldn't afford college we went to work or we went into the military. My husband and I both chose the latter.  We didn't take out student loans and begin our lives in debt. Back then, we believed that if you couldn't afford it, you find another way to make your life work. Then we had several bubbles, savings and loan, dot.com, housing etc etc. So, when was this golden time us Boomers enjoyed.? Oh yeah, we got to duck and cover.

But, you know what? We got to work, we built a life. We didn't waste time playing victim and blaming our parents. We took personal responsibility, something sorely lacking in today's society.

P.S. If you do a little research, you will find that the protest and counter culture leaders were not boomers. Timothy Leary, Andy Warhol and most rock musicians were pre-boomer. https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/the-misconception-about-baby-boomers-and-the-sixties

I find it highly offensive that someone would call a whole generation self absorbed and lazy. Evidently we knew very different people. The ones I knew worked really hard for everything they have achieved.

Look at the high unemployment rate us boomers had to endure. That is the first column.  The unemployment rate in 1982 was 10.8. Yeah, good times.                 https://www.thebalance.com/unemployment-rate-by-year-3305506

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
