False ministers

In a perfect world, no. But time and again in the OT days, God overlooked the transgressions of priests and kings, simply because they were still the best vessels that He had to work with in an evil time. I believe that He works today no differently than then.

If a fellowship has a sufficiency of once-married, qualified men in the Gospel, then they should lead the assembly. But sadly, too often that is simply not the case.
