K - I am openly admitting I am cutting and pasting it because a) I had no idea where it was until I looked it up, b) didn't know exactly how it went and c) I know that someone needed to read it at some point soon. It really encouraged me when I first read it.

I dont remember the verse, but the quote is

"You can do nothing against the truth, only for the truth"

I believe it is in proverbs King James version.

I meditated on this memory verse (that I cant remeber the verse #) and God really spoke to me.

In a nut shell, no matter how much one tries to turn the truth into a lie, it is the truth that will prevail, it is the truth that will expose the lie.

You can do nothing against the truth, when one tries it just strengthens the facts of the truth and proves the truth to be true. (hope that makes sense )

Nothing prevails against the truth. Jesus is the truth.

Oh boy...I used to know all of Romans 8 by heart (in the NASB version), but I just realized that now I can only remember snippets! I guess I'll have to settle for my second-favourite, which is Jeremiah 29:11-13 (this one I learned in the NIV)
