He was amazed by the smallness of the city of Jerusalem:

The New Jerusalem will be 1500 by 1500 by 1500 miles. The size of the entire Arab Continental plate.

Joshua 1:3,4 "I have given you every place where the sole of your foot will tread, just as I promised to Moses. Your territory shall extend from the wilderness and Lebanon to the great River Euphrates—all the land of the Hittites—and west as far as the Great Sea".

Revelation 21:16 "The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal".

I know and believe the covenant God made with Abraham. About any nation that blesses Israel being blessed, and any that curse her being destroyed...but modern day Israel seems awful as a nation. Benjamin Netanyahu does not seem to be a godly man, but I've read to potentially be corrupt. And also the most heart breaking thing to me  how they treat the  Palestinians. How can we support them if they are so unkind? I would never want Israel to be left to be destroyed by the middle eastern countries, and I'm sure the Jewish nation themselves are not the evil ones. But this thing with the poor Palestinian people bothers me immensely. I cant make it make sense in my heart or mind. Do they live by a different set of rules? Are they allowed to be corrupt and harm other people just because they are Gods chosen people?what about the words and teachings of Jesus? How can God be okay with monsters like that...trying to destroy a different people(palestinians) which seem to be waaaaay inferior to them in every way. I'm just looking for some enlightenment. I am very confused at to how God wants them to be supported if they reject His Son and murder other ethnicities. I can't say God is just if He gives them extra leniency just because they are Israelites.

Close family members had the same difficulty with Jewish people (getting past what they say and do that are in many ways anti-Christian) not only in Israel but in Hollywood etc.

I explained to them:

1. God loves the Jewish people (which ought to be enough)

2. The Jewish people down through history have suffered terribly for bringing in the Word of God into the world

in two forms:

A) the scriptures

B) the Messiah the living Word.

3. The Abrahamic covenant was unconditional (which is why Abraham was incapacitated during the cutting of the covenant).

No conditions. Belief / unbelief / whatever. God shall bless those who bless them and curse those who curse them.

4. Palestinians are (wittingly or unwittingly) agents of the evil one...

A) The majority of Palestinians are heirs of exiled Jordanians that the Jewish people welcomed into the Holy Land as they

were being kicked out of Jordan. The Jews were just coming into the land in 1948 at the time.

B) The Muslims are behind the unrest because their prophet predicted Israel would never again be a standing nation. And they

loathe the Jews all the more because  the existence of Israel proves Mohamed a false prophet. So they either face this fact or try

with all their might to undo what the UN did in 1948.

The Jews are only doing what it takes to survive in these conditions. And the antisemitic press skews all reports to make Israel

out to be a sadistic antagonist towards the "peaceful" Palestinians. ← tongue firmly planted in cheek

Palestinians blow up buses with little children in them or launch rockets at homes with families in them.

What would YOU do differently under those extreme circumstances???

How can you support Israel. Pray for the Return of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ), Romans 11:26 - New King James Version - 26 and so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:

When Jesus returns it will be too late.

All Israel will be saved, all Israel is all those who are Christian.

So pray for conversions.

I think that I do not know and understand enough scriptures to understand this issue. Whoever said this is true, that there are no conditions on that abrahamic covenant, therefore I must do as God has commanded. In cannot support anyone inflicting pain on anyone as there are always innocents and children involved be it Israeli innocents or Palestinian. Jesus died for all of us, He loves ALL the children of this world. There are Zionist Jews behind the scenes bent on destruction, but I know those are not the Israeli people. I pray and hope for their conversion and for Palestinians as well. We are all children of Him, and those that serve another will never know the joy and pure love of God and Jesus. I want all people to have that. Muslims Hindus Buddhists everyone. They were born into those cultures, I hope we Christiand never lose sight of the fact that He called us first, He loved us first, we would never come to Him of our own accord. And we owe that same lovingkindess and compassion to all the nations of this world  even the Arab ones that hate Israel.

The tenant oIsl that will be saved will be hose who believe when Jesus returns

There is no chance afterwards.

Why will people be calling on the rocks to fall on them and hide them from Jesus?

Because they are not saved and are terrified at the sight of the returning glorified Jesus.

Equally those Jews who have not accepted Jesus as there Lord and Saviour will be couring under rocks to escape his wrath.

Which is why I say pray for conversions, today is the day of salvation.

I am loving this discussion...because I am having trouble myself understanding what's going on in the middle east. Everything is politics and twisted...the truth is so hard to see. Basically it seems like the Arab governments hate Israel, as always and persecute them, but innocent Palestinians are the ones hurt when Israel rightfully retaliates. Just the knowledge of innocent people especially children being hurt in any nation is so hard to reconcile for me. But alas, this is life here on earth. Where wars are the rich mans game and the poor innocents of all nations pay for it.

This is really the heart of it. There's a lot of politics, propaganda, and agendas in play and the news media will often put a particular spin on things. As I see it, if you disapprove of what the government is doing, that's fine. You don't have to support something that seems unjust or unscriptural. But what you can do is pray for Israel and the innocents, and if you feel led to, support legit charitable institutions that help the normal, every day people of Israel.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
