I always thought that after you led someone to the Lord, the feeling would be this uncontrolable joy that would leave people wanting to shout and scream.. is it really supposed to be this happy joy and peaceful.. ??

And why has it not really seemed to sink in that I was given the privaledge of leading someone to the Lord????...

Sometimes a valley will follow after a great spiritual victory-that could be a part of it. Anyway, when you get to Heaven, there'll be plenty of joy to see those souls you helped to win!

each time, each person is totally different.

some will be in total peace, comfort, and content, others will jump from the burdens being removed, some will weep, some will just relax, some will be calm and happy.....

each is different.... just cause some one does not jump up and down does not mean they have not received......

some days, I will be singing and praising with my hands in my pockets other days, with them upstretched and even other days will be dancing and jumping and shouting..... there are some days i sing loudly all day long, other days may find me in quiet prayer turmoiling over situations, other times a person may find me dancing as I am working, or even bowing down in prayer during a job. there have been times under a house that i found i needed to yeild to the Lord and change modes midway thru a job. every day is different and every one is different..

Ronald is absolutely right! Consider the prophet, Elijah. He'd had an enormous spiritual victory over the prophets of Baal.

He absolutely TRIUMPHED over them, but ironically...after such huge victory, he sunk into a depression! He actually wished God would just let him die and get on with it.

He hid himself in a cave and was fearful.

It happens. You've served the Lord and savored a victory...but the enemy of your soul is raging with fury.

*nods* It's totally different every time. For some reason, I get more excited when I hear that one of my friends led someone to Christ than when I see it happen myself. *shrug* I guess it just doesn't sink in.

lol ... well.... :P

I kind of new a bit.. I had gotten some advice last year at VBS when i decided to "watch" Ms Cony lead two boys to the Lord. She told me to use a track :b: I found the roman's road in my Christian Life Journal and so i just wrote that down in the back of my bible. It was kind of fustrating because on Monday, they didnt' give a salvation message, and on Tuesday, my youth pastor said "No Crystal".. i think that was because i was trying to give a boy to someone else, but i dont' think he knew that.. then today, i had my bible and everything and a girl that raised her hand was a girl that had grown fond of me and I of her, on the church bus :b:

Well, when she raised her hand, i took her into a room and tried going through the romans road.. it was fustrating me because i was already nervous and praying that the Lord was giving me strength on what to say, and she was getting distracted. She barely paid attention to anything that i said for most of it... about half way through.. she took a peice of chalk and wrote some things on the chalk board.. she said "I love jesuse(that is how she spelled it). I love jesuse and miy fameileye". THen she said in her cute little voice "I want to know how to be saved".. so the Lord worked  I won't go into much detail, but there are two things i know she understands.. how to get saved and that she will never loose her salvation

I just want to share this one. When i was watching Ms Cony talk to the two boys about salvation, she used an illustration to show how we can never loose our salvation :) She put her ring in her hand and told the boys to try and open her hand and take her ring. The couldn't do it.. she used that to illustrate how noone, not even ourselves, can take us from God :) She understood that one and she had fun trying to get it :)

*wishes could go into more detail but i know i shouldnt so :) *

That's a nice story, kittlylover. :b:

Another good one - don't know if I can adequately describe it. It's simple - you draw two cliffs on a piece of paper. Just put your pen on the left edge of the paper and draw a backwards "r". Then, opposite it, with your pen on the right edge, draw a rightways "r". (each side point of the "r" is touching an edge of the page.) LOL, does this make any sense? Anyway, you have what looks to be like two cliffs with a chasm between.

You tell the person that they are on one cliff and God is on the other. They have no way to cross that chasm - they are unable to get to God.

Then you draw a vertical line between the two cliffs - emphasing the chasm that man is unable to cross to get to God.

Then, you draw a horizontal line from cliff to cliff - and you now have a cross. That is your opening to show that Christ is the way we can cross that chasm to God.

Hope that made a modicum of sense, lol! It's what I used when I did mission work on an Indian reservation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
