AT 5 PM AST...2100 UTC...THE BERMUDA WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

HURRICANE WATCH FOR BERMUDA...INDICATING THAT HURRICANE CONDITIONS

ARE POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR BERMUDA. A TROPICAL

STORM WARNING MEANS THAT TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED

WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

FOR STORM INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO YOUR AREA...PLEASE MONITOR

PRODUCTS ISSUED BY YOUR LOCAL WEATHER OFFICE.

AT 5 PM AST...2100Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM HARVEY WAS

LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 31.1 NORTH... LONGITUDE 67.2 WEST OR ABOUT

165 MILES... 265 KM... WEST-SOUTHWEST OF BERMUDA.

HARVEY IS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST-NORTHEAST NEAR 10 MPH

...17 KM/HR...AND THIS MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT

24 HOURS. ON THE FORECAST TRACK...THE CENTER OF HARVEY SHOULD PASS

VERY NEAR BERMUDA THURSDAY MORNING.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 60 MPH... 95 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER

GUSTS. SOME ADDITIONAL INCREASE IN STRENGTH IS POSSIBLE DURING THE

NEXT 24 HOURS...AND THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE THAT HARVEY COULD REACH

HURRICANE STRENGTH BEFORE PASSING BY BERMUDA.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 85 MILES

...140 KM FROM THE CENTER.

You were one of the people that said you enjoyed weather news, Gerioke.

I don't write the news, I just link stories I believe are interesting or relevant to us. Believe me, I've done my fair share of searching for good, positive news on the internet. Everything I find is years old or about how Mrs. Johnson won the cookie bake-off. You are free to find alternative articles to put here.

other one's post is exactly the relevance of this story. This hurricane season has been a very busy one. There are more of everything these days... earthquakes, hurricanes, tornados, heat waves, droughts, etc., These are all signs of the times we live in. They are meant for us to recognize and know that Jesus' return is close at hand.

These stories also give us reminders to be grateful and to pray for those in the path of destruction.

Interesting that here in Oklahoma, we have only had one day over a hundred and very very few tornados this year...... Hummmm. must be a good place to live....

It's been over 80 here once and has been in the mid seventies most of the time. We've had a lot less fog and wind than prior years as well. Just enough rain to keep things green on the coast. Cool nights are also a reoccuring anomaly this year.

And you're complaining?

I'll switch with you for over 90 and very humid and warm nights!!

I heard the national forcasters have newly predicted about 21 named tropical storms/hurricanes this season.
