The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire.................. 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea:............... 10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, ...................... 12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon Rev. 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! The 5th Angel that sounds orders an Angel to open the bottomless pit. Then the 6th Angel that sounds order 200 Million Angels to slay 1/3 of mankind. Then the 7th Angel that sounds orders the 7 Angels to READY their 7 Vials. Apollyon is a Demon locked in the bottomless pit, who gets released The World welcomes ALL THINGS Satan because their hearts are EVIL. Its that simple. Mine once was also. The angel of the bottomless pit whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (Revelation 9:11), translated means the destroyer. The destroyer, who is given to the key to the bottomless pit which causes the beast to rise from the bottomless pit, which is another description for the sea in Revelation 13; an angel of God declares Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and sea, because of the devil who has been cast down to the earth, and is furious knowing that he has a short time left to him. The seven angels who sound warnings, are angels of God who provide mankind with true illumination on how their love for the things their hands produce (Revelation 9:20), are the cause for the plagues in Revelation 8 & 9. Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Edited January 7, 2021 by luigi

God locked him in the pit and thus he's the King of the Bottomless Pit. He doesn't just come down and unlock the pit, it tells you he's their king. The Bottomless Pit is his only Kingdom, thus the Scarlet Beast has NO CROWNS via the Mediterranean Sea Region's 7 headed Beast. The star who falls from heaven to whom is given the key to the bottomless pit (Revelation 9:1) from which the beast shall ascend, is the dragon who is cast down onto the earth (Revelation 12:9) who provides the beast with his power causing the beast to ascend from the sea. This shows the Tribulation is due to the great [wrath] of the devil because he knows his time left is short. I've never understood people calling Tribulation the [wrath of God] when the Bible is clear it is Satan's wrath. But those people also believe in pre-trib which is a complete MYTH. Hello kingdombrat, Yes the devil who will give the beast his power causing the beast to rise from the sea, a.k.a., the bottomless pit will eventually result in great woe to all inhabitants of land and sea, as the angel flying through the midst of heaven in Revelation 8:13 declares, as does the angel in Revelation 12:12. If, however, we look at the events prior to the fifth angels sounding warning when the bottomless pit is opened from which the beast shall ascend, we see that one third of all of earth's natural resources will have been destroyed in Revelation 8, prior to the beasts ascension from the bottomless pit/the sea in Revelation 9 & 13. This means that prior to the angel of the bottomless pit, Abaddon/Apollyon, whose name means the destroyer, who is the devil is cast to the earth and gives his power to the beast, there will be great tribulation occurring throughout the world, as Revelation 8 indicates. And as the beast who ascends from the bottomless pit is another description for the abomination of desolation who appears in the Olivet discourse; the wars, pestilences, famines, and other catastrophes, preceding the abomination of desolations appearance can then be realized caused by the destruction to one third of earth's environmental resources in Revelation 8. Revelation 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! As you have said, the tribulation is not the wrath of God. The wrath of God begins after the seventh seal is opened at the blowing of the first trumpet. The tribulation is over at the coming of Jesus at the 6th seal. As for the pretribulation rapture, it is hardly myth. The Word proclaims that we can escape the things ALL THE THINGS that are coming on the earth. Luke 21 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. ALL THESE THINGS that we can escape occur during the tribulation as proven by Matt 24. We can stand before the Son of man.
