Oh dear, His Ambassador, just when I was starting to enjoy your posts. The only ones to be left behind are like the ones who were left behind when the flood came, and the Lord rescued Noah and his family, the saved ones. The ones who were left behind, were the ones who became the victims of God's wrath. Only this time it wont be a flood (remember the rainbow) It's more likely to be radiation. Of course, like everyone else, that's only my opnion.

cheers,

eric.

This is an opinion based on the commonly taught "Rapture" theory. Not every Believer buys the "Rapture" theory.

I believe the Lord has revealed to me that when He returns it will be to establish His Millennial Kingdom not to take away the Body of Believers at that time. It will be the non-Believers who will be removed during the thousand year Kingdom.

Sorry, HA, that I never made myself clear. I for one, do not buy into the rapture theory, not before the trib anyway. I believe in the resurrection of the saints, both the living and the dead immediately after the trib and prior to the pouring out of God's wrath.

Hi All.

Here is your Little girl Rapture theory my friend.

Margaret MacDonald is not the mother of the pre-tribulation rapture.

I have visited just about every anti-rapture web site on the internet. One common point used on nearly every one of these sites to oppose the pretribulation doctrine is the claim that the rapture theory was started by a Scottish girl named Margaret MacDonald. Many critics of the rapture declare that MacDonald received her vision from demonic origins, and that she then passed on the message of that vision to infect the Church. Being a staunch pretribulationist, I'm at a loss to explain the connection between Margaret MacDonald and my beliefs in the rapture. I cannot recall ever hearing pre-trib prophetic speakers say, "I believe in the rapture because Margaret MacDonald told me so."

After reading and listening to a number of web sites, books, and radio programs that promote the idea that Margaret MacDonald started pretribulationism, I decided to look into the matter.

To be certain that I made no oversight, I searched through my library of prophecy books for references citing Margaret MacDonald as the founder of the rapture teaching. My hunt turned out to be in vain. It was like looking for the cartoon character "Where's Waldo." Only in this case, no Waldo was to be found.

If MacDonald was the founder of the pretribulation rapture, as most anti-rapture proponents say, then someone needs to explain why rapturists have failed to give her credit. You would expect to find dozens of books that expound upon her every word. From reading the writings of anti-rapture authors, one would think we pre-tribbers would be reverencing MacDonald as Catholics do Mary. But clearly we don't. Pre-tribbers don

Hello 831:

Thanks for the info on the "Rapture"

I am not "anti-rapture". I believe there will be a "Rapture". But I also believe the commonly taught theory has the timing all screwed up. I also believe the followers of Jesus who are here when He returns to set up His kingdom will not go through the Great Tribulation which I believe occurs after His thousand year reign.

sorry

Not with you on this one. After the thousand year reign?

Where do you get that from?

I thought it was:

1) things are bad

2) christians taken up to wedding

3) tribulation

4) Jewish miracles of coming to faith

5) judgement

6) 1000 years of reign with christ (how the earth should have been)

7) During this time some will decome deceived.

8) God sorts them out and the deceiver once and for all.

That's the commonly taught theory but, if I understand what I believe the Lord has revealed to me, it is wrong. If you'd like to know what He has shown me PM or e-mail me. I'm not here to debate it with anyone. Whether or not you choose to accept it is up to you. It has nothing to do with salvation.

Hi All.

I must admit that I to am quite baffled as to what you are talking about with this Great Tribulation occurring after Christ's Thousand year reign. This is what the Bible says & it clearly says at the end of Rev 22: 18 - 21. for I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophesy of this book. If any man add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book, and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophesy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life & out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book, He that testifieth these things saith, surely I come quickly Amen. I will not put the rest as it is not really useful but this is what this book clearly says so for you to say that God has shown you something different, you my friend are adding to his book. I go off what the Bible tells me I go off what the Bible says & this is what it says my friend. If you have been given a revelation / Prophesy with regards to the end times you are under an obligation to get that word out to as many people as possible not to keep it to yourself & only tell people who contact you personally. Here again is another Bible study for anyone who thinks otherwise.

THE RAPTURE

An exciting event that is going to take place in the future is the RAPTURE. The Bible says:

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-17)

There has been constant debate and controversy about when the Rapture takes place. There are many theories - Pre-Tribulation, Mid-Tribulation, Post-Tribulation, Partial Rapture, and Pre-Wrath Raptures of the Church. There are probably many more which stem from these theories but these five are the basic views. I hold the Pre-Tribulation Rapture view and I do so without reservation. Before I defend my convictions, let us define and examine all five views concisely.

Pre Tribulation Rapture = The Rapture will occur before the seven year tribulation

Mid Tribulation Rapture = The Rapture will occur midway into the seven year tribulation (after 3

why does it matter??

it will either happen or it won't

if you are ready for anything then rest in the Lord

if you are waiting for the great snatch as some call it and it does not happen what then??

just trust the Lord to work it out in HIS time

me--- Well I am going to put my faith in the Lord and trust Him to help me no matter what happens and if He calls me home before it all takes place well them it is a moot point to me

don't get hung up on the when just be ready for the Whatever

in Christ

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
