The world is spinning in a tizzy but Valrntines is still on the way.

So my question is what are some good valentines gift for a baby? I wanted to give my son a teddy, flower and chocolate and a V-day t shirt.

Are these good ideas?

Also in what gifts have u gotten and given for valentines?

Maybe you should give him a football.

Every kid needs a good pet! I suggest a kitten but I suppose a puppy would also work. ;)

I can tell you that you do not want to do that....   and don't get her a new Hoover upright vacuum cleaner either....  there are consequences to these things that you really don't want..

I'm with John on this; give him a football. You don't say how old the "baby" and it's not clear if the baby and son are the same person but if the son is very, very young... make it a foam football. If he's real, real young (age 3 or younger) it doesn't matter because he won't remember so you get him what you want and take pictures for your memories because my baby son just graduated college and has plans to join the Marine Corps..

And...... I suspect you meant teddy bear, not just teddy. If not, you come see me professionally because I might be able to help with that ;)

He is 1

lol! And what do you think a one-year-old will get from a teddy [bear], flowers, and a t-shirt?

If you buy a teddy bear buy a nice one so it will last. One that can and will survive teething. One that is has threadbare fur-less spots when finally surrendered to memorabilia. The comfort and security memory provides is immeasurable. You want to buy a teddy bear that will later create the problem of, "Okay, time to put the teddy bear away now; you're too old for that." ;) That is a good teddy bear. And that will have its fullest effect if the child grows up in a loving and supportive family where the that which is found in the teddy bear is symbolic of that which is found in the family as a whole. You manage to pull that off and.... well I don't think there are sufficient words to describe the power and blessing that can be but I will say this: that child will have no need of seeing my ilk later professionally ;)

In the first three years everything a child learns is a matter of imprinting. Memories do not develop until the late threes or four years of age. Teach to the developmental statge of the child. Love to the developmental stage of the child. Your 13 year old son won't need a teddy bear.

And I know this probably does not need saying but...

The single best thing two parents can do for their children is have a good marriage.

While you're working on that a teddy bear is nice . Buy one for your husband too and tell him what a hunk he is and how much you value his presence in your life. Then, two days later, remind him you want and need him to do and say the same sorts of things for you on a regular basis. And if he balks at that then you have him join Worthy and message me.

Blessings upon you and the baby. It's a neat time. When you having another? :D

Its the thought that counts. Teddy will be a new toy. Shirt..well you already know the function of that so it won't be a waste. Flower.. I just think its a nice touch.
