Fauci says wearing two face masks is ‘common sense’ and ‘likely’ more effective

We found out yesterday that Dr. Fauci is the highest-paid government employee in the United States.  He makes more money than the President.  And now we listened and took the advice last year … 2 weeks to ‘flatten the curve’.  A year later, this illustrious well-paid doctor is suggesting we wear two masks!  Really?  This is what he said on 60 minutes last year concerning masks.

And in today’s news …

Dr. Anthony Fauci said that wearing two face masks “likely” provides more protection than wearing just one mask.

“Because, I mean, this is a physical covering to prevent droplets and virus to get in,” Fauci told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie on Monday. “So, if you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on — it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective, and that’s the reason why you see people either double-masking or doing a version of an N95.”

The better advice which is not discussed … is where Dr. Fauci suggests loading up on Vitamin C and D!

The leading infectious-disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci recommends taking your vitamins now that school has started and flu season is nearing.

Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, specifically suggested taking vitamin D and C supplements and said he takes them himself in an Instagram Live interview with the actress Jennifer Garner.

“If you’re deficient in vitamin D, that does have an impact on your susceptibility to infection. I would not mind recommending, and I do it myself, taking vitamin D supplements,” he said. “The other vitamin that people take is vitamin C because it’s a good antioxidant, so if people want to take a gram or so of vitamin C, that would be fine.” – Source

a couple of places back last April when no one would wear masks around here, I wore my paint respirator with blue carbon monoxide filters on it.
