Believers and non believers; what's the difference?

Christianity suffers no ill effects because of our bad witness.  We suffe,r but in the end, the truth remains the truth and people will respond to is our not.  Todays western Christian society needs to come back to God, we have accepted too many compromises, too much of man's wisdom and many have lost their way.  But Christianity holds strong

Agreed. Just like they in Matthew 7:23 whom the Lord will claim as never having known, in all likelihood call themselves Christians.

Guys (and gals ), who is it that defines "Christian"? Christians or non-Christians? God, or non-Christians? Can you not see how subtle the influence of the world is on us when we can persuaded to think and say the word "Christian" has lost its significance? 

No, the word has not lost its significance and anyone who encounters any of us can and should realize that simply from the interaction. This is one of the fundamental differences between believers and non-believers.

The truth can be incendiary if the person who hears it is "flammable" But we must remember that Christianity is not about Christians its about Christ, And He reminded us that some will hate us for his name sake....and its a blessing

It’s seems those who don’t have true faith in God bear no good fruit.

“It is not my business to judge those who are not part of the group of believers. God will judge them, but you must judge those who are part of your group. The Scriptures say, “Make the evil person leave your group.” I wrote to you in my letter that you should not associate with people who sin sexually. But I did not mean the people of this world. You would have to leave the world to get away from all the people who sin sexually, or who are greedy and cheat each other, or who worship idols. I meant you must not associate with people who claim to be believers but continue to live in sin. Don’t even eat with a brother or sister who sins sexually, is greedy, worships idols, abuses others with insults, gets drunk, or cheats people.”

They claim to be believers but their actions show different.
