Ok, I understand..... have you read JOB? I would recommend it ...... You are NO different than a gazillion people in that we can not understand how a loving God could allow all these horrible things to happen in the world. And to your point specifically, if this same God told us He will give us a number of "Gifts", and one of those gifts is one of healing, why can't at least one of us on this planet heal all or some or whatever a number of all these diseases, cancer, etc.

This just happens to be just a little short of my pay grade so this is why I recommended the Book of Job......

Something that will NOT make you or anyone feel better, ESPECIALLY if you or one of your loved ones is involved in these horrible type of illnesses, but somewhere in the Scriptures (maybe Paul) tells us that there is absolutely nothing on this side of Heaven that we would not want to accept and go through (no matter how horrific and painful this thing is) when compared to the glory of being with Him in Heaven....

It is extremely difficult and maybe even impossible to imagine how anyone on this side could really understand and accept this ...... but God does not make mistakes and has a perfect reason for everything.

Please let me know your thoughts on this, Charlie

I can understand God allowing children to die, we will all die, but to say it's because they are worldly or faithless i can't understand. I also can't understand why God heals all their diseases but not these children. Ironically this depresses me where I was full of joy.

Do all have the gift of healing? No. So your answer is that those children at st Jude and shriners is that they are worldly?

I am not sure i understand, I lost 7 family members in 3 year and now my sister has lung cancer, Do I now stop trusting in Gods word, no I run to him and cling to those scriptures

I am sorry. I cant imagine what it would be like to have a child sick with cancer, but if I did, I would pray always and I would remember those scriptures in prayer

This is just me

Does God always heal, no, but I will turn to him and pray to him as if he does

I believe that is what we should do,

Thank you for your response!

I know you know we don’t have the answers ... only on the other side will we provided them.

I would recommend you always look to God for Him to give you His Peace that goes beyond our understanding... it is so real and .... it is beyond our understanding!

I don't know what to say. Normally I would humbly seek God and sometimes find peace and joy. But if God heals all diseases as the scripture supposedly says, then why don't some get healed?

Well, I don’t know where that is said in the Scriptures... He certainly is capable but He does tell us it rains on both the just and the unjust.

Once again I suggest you read JOB... He placed it in His Scriptures for this reason.

Job's end was better than the beginning. How would that comfort someone dying? Are they healed like Job?

I believe there are more than one message found in JOB. One important message is not to think we have the right to question God. He is in control of EVERYTHING and we must trust Him, have total faith in Him... just like the Scriptures- He did not tell us how He created everything that ever existed and we can not question or demand He conduct Himself as WE believe He should.

It is so easy to believe, trust and have faith in Him when everything is fine and everyone in your world is doing great, but we must still follow, trust and believe in Him when things are not going as we like.

You will find it is absolutely impossible to accomplish any of this by yourself/on your own!! ONLY through HIS Holy Spirit can we receive this special gift... there is nothing wrong with your thoughts and not understanding the why’s of this world, but it is wrong to hold onto those same beliefs and thoughts WHEN He has and will give you the ability to address them through this gift from His Holy Spirit.

We can refuse this gift and continue blaming Him for the evils of the world and why doesn’t He heal this child or that person, OR, we can place our faith in Him and ask / receive His Peace that goes beyond our understanding through His Holy Spirit.

It is so easy to complain, blame and find fault when things are going south... normal human behavior- few really seek His alternative from this kind of thinking.

There is a short verse somewhere in the Scriptures where God tells us “to try Him and see”... Charlie

I'm not blaming anyone except myself. I feel like maybe others blame themselves too.

I am not sure I follow you here... apparently you have a very specific issue you may be dealing with as opposed to a discussion on healing, why things happen or are not prevented from happening...

So, you might want to get more specific or drill in to your issue at hand...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
