They should shock you.

What happened is very common but what is common is not always godly. I didn't post those words to cause any distress beyond that of spurring you on toward good works and..... change

Imagine how shocked I might have been reading a few words posted absent then entire sentence or paragraph in which those words occurred. If you can lay hold of how that miht have felt then perhaps you can have some empathy and if you can find such empathy then perhaps you can also feel what it was like to have one's character impugned and faith questioned only to receive, "I apologise for the way I spoke to you on the thread,” Does God Only want to save some” I would have apologised on that thread, but was banned from replying to that thread."

Shock is the correct response if it is the correct shock.

John 3:20-21
"For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.  "But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."

I am relying on the Spirit of God at work in you to look at what happen AND to live courageously, to come into the light so that God's work in your life may be seen.

You have not posted the whole conversation..I said more than that..please post the whole conversation..if not, I will get my son to do it..

you have posted a little of what I said..then cut the rest out?

why have you done that?.....why can’t you post the whole conversation?

i don’t understand?

you have edited bits out of my message, why?

I just read through this thread. What was a private exchange between two parties has become public. The cat, so to speak, is out of the bag. Some things have been said that cast a poor light on individuals involved and for that reason and for clarification and for the hope of a reconciliation following the truth being plainly shown--I feel that I must allow the actual exchange to be plainly shown 'in public'. There is something to be gained in doing so. There is something for the community to learn and to be edified.

In addition to pleasing the Lord, there is behind it an object lesson regarding the TOS and why it is important to adhere to its tenets.

Other than what I have described, this thread had run its course. We all know that an apology or better a confession is only the beginning...or I hope that we do.

Above is what I posted earlier.

I though the redeeming potential for this discussion is if and when the entire exchange is properly exposed, so that potential for slander is not a permanent part of the record here at Worthy and healing proceed. If that isn't happening, than I think it best to disappear the two related threads. Wrong accusations are a stain and not to be taken lightly...especially within the Body of Christ. Make no mistake--this forum represents a community of believers and Jesus Christ.

The thread is temporarily locked to give a time out and opportunity to consider and respond as I have suggested.

Do please show me (and the others here) the scriptures saying, "apologising is the act of peace making."

There isn’t any actual scripture, saying those exact words.

But plenty of scripture on peace making....can you explain how we keep the peace, when there has been an attack on someone’s character.as I attacked you on a thread.......how would you right that wrong?

This assumes there is a breaking of a peaceful relationship. When one is attacked or insulted, this does not mean that the individual on the receiving end reacts outside of what pleases Christ. Making assumptions, such as this, is what easily leads to more misunderstanding. It colors our perceptions of following responses. This speaks to maturity.

How am I making assumptions....when I apologised for the attack?

i was trying to make peace!?

My attack upset my spirit..so I believe God placed it on my heart to make peace.

I didn't say you were making assumptions--I don't know if you were. I was answering your question.

The question assumes there is a break of peace--I was stating that this is not necessarily the case when an individual is insulted. If a person throws a dart at me, it doesn't mean it will find its mark. I may duck or be impervious to its point.

When I respond to the dart, the other party may assume that I was damaged and that the subsequent response is adversarial. It may seem to be adversarial, but is not.

That can set off a series of exchanges that are problematic--a lack of true communication.

That makes sense...thank you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
