2 Timothy 3
King James Version
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceive

Here is the question. Do we understand the time and the threat  against believers today . here are some I see as outstanding.

accepted  immoral relationships

The false church

unbelief in God and Ashiest movement

The great reset and one world global ambitions

A I Age of smart robots and tracking devices

These are things all happening right now. and pose a great threat to the true believers in Christ. Not down the road some time but are already here.

Be aware of your cell phones and the conversations you have on them. They can see you, hear you   and track you anywhere even if your phone is off. Should we fear ? No!  Jesus said " be gentile as lambs but wise as serpents." Just being alert and conscious, the enemy is all around us. We don't need to stupid.

If that is about to happen it has all been foretold.

I always think of the line from Tolkien.  He had an insight a wisdom in line with the bible

“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”

and know that God is with us, and will help us.

On a side note this morning I wake up and find that I have been put in facebook jail (a 24 hour posting ban) this morning because

I posted content that goes against their hate speech and inferiority policy. I find it interesting that they are accusing God of hate speech, because what I posted was what Psalm 14:1 says "The fool has said in his heart there is no God"

I guess now if God's truth is offensive, it too must be destroyed

I've been reading a lot about a man i would  not mention. Fair young and very  wealthy. He looks like the nicest guy you wound to meet But his ambitions are in machines  that are autonomous. among them are satellites that will have missiles   and lasers all around the world He has said in five years AI will take over. If you look at this mans track record and accomplishments you might could go to the bank on that. They will say they are AI for other reasons, but Don't kid yourself they are armed to the teeth. think about five years from now. Think about one man in charge. It time to pray.

What would they be looking for in a conversation?  As a Christian, we would not be doing anything that is against the law, would we?  For that matter, why would they want to track a cell phone of someone my age who goes nowhere and does nothing exciting besides spend a little time climbing?  What in the world would they ever be interested in??

Wait a minute!  I don't even have a cell phone!!  Never mind, carry on ... :sad030:

Sad some just don't understand that and live their lives in constant angst amid never-ending ominous foreboding.

Very sad. And very ignorant.

I have been in controls and automation for over 45 years. There are NOT any clever machines.

737 Max - I wanna go UP - naah, yous goin down - splat!!. Go spent time at you local robotics factory. See how hard it is to make simple things happen. It is nonsense to say AI can do very much at all, let alone simple things. Hogwash!

Rather than pose imaginary scenarios, try running a Robotics program on your PC or phone. They are free for consumers. That is the easy bit. When you can do that, go to Boeing and watch their wing riveters and the constant supervision needed so it does no mash the wing to shreds.

We cannot do the simple things without difficulty, so why invent a machine that can? Vain babblings and evil imaginations.

Yes, I agree with those scriptures!  However, I refuse to become obsessed with watching what I say because my cell phone might be listening . . . . lol

I know what technology is doing, and none of what you said is wrong, but, IF somebody wants to listen to my conversations on my phone and in my house they will: 1. hear about the goodness of the Lord. 2. get bored with day to day life events.

I hear what you are saying, BUT . . . I refuse to walk around in fear of who might hear what I am saying .   .    .

Grace and Peace . . . Ray

Yes I know its sounds a little over the top for who live a quiet normal life for the most part. I am with you on that but we are only two people amongst many. So you are only seeing things from your own view. Lets say you are on a safe ground. but see Family and friends brothers and you knew they could be walking on thin ice. You your self are safe but others might not be.   In the Old Testament God sent Prophets to warn his people they were on thin ice  Would they not be negligent for not doing what they should have done.

Things are about to change and you won't you and I and those who believe in Christ will not be safe. its right at the door. Oh some of you will say its nonsense. All this is for the betterment of mankind, and so you are right, but you forget the world is dangerous and many  are not the good Samaritan, but power is attractive to those who are able to use it. Im sure scripture can backs that up.

Today is no different then it has been through out history. What was impossible yesterday is no longer impossible. Greedy and power hungry people who only think for themselves and ambitions. The spirit of antichrist is still exists. If you  think its business as usual you are very mistaken.

Yet, when the man is teaching anything other than eschatology he's impressive in exactly the opposite direction. He sticks to scripture, applies sound exegesis, and uses his God-given faculties of reason.

Hmm. Sounds a bit like a personality issue..?

Regardless, to sow truth out of one side of the mouth and silliness out of the other. Well, there are some very able armchair prognosticators and since nobody seems to learn logic anymore, it is a sad state of affairs.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
