We know the silent child call happens to mothers, we dont know how.

Good points. There is far more to us and the Lord than any doctrine can express. We are extremely complex and the only One that comes close to understanding us is our Maker.

We see the ripples in the water, but never the pebble that caused them or the 'caster of the stone'.

Exactly!  He does not want to and he cannot.  This is why we MUST be born again, in order to see and enter the kingdom of God, by faith in Jesus Christ.

And it’s a miracle how God brings us to crying out to Jesus..I’m not getting involved in this discussion any further, because some can’t seem to accept how others became born again..

i had never read a bible in my life but the Holy Spirit saved me and it was amazing!!

i know that I am born again/ Gods child and that’s all that matters, I won’t be questioned anymore on how I received the indwelling Holy Spirit.

All the Glory goes to God on my saving and I did zilch, ..

No, I said the premise of unity is bad teaching. Teaching it will happen on this side of the grave is false. I explicitly cited Ephesians 4, a passage that speaks explicitly of unity so please read my posts more carefully; it is not logically possible to conclude I say unity is a false teaching given what I actually posted.

Let's see if we can agree on a pair of things real, real basic.

1) we are to grow into Christlikeness. Yes? No?

2) the conclusion of that growth occurs only through our own physical death and resurrection whereby we are raised imperishable and immortal = Christlike. Yes? No?

Seems like an excuse to revel in that which is not of the will of the Lord.

So bad teaching isn't false teaching then?

So we are to just claim we cannot do what is of the will of GOD because we have not been given of the Spirit?

Was the Christ of GOD speaking of things people will do after they die when He said "even greater things"?

No compartmentalizing please.

This is the work of Jesus Christ in us. As the scripture affirms,

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NKJV)

Hence we are the work of His hand (His workmanship), set aside for His purpose (those works which God prepared beforehand for us to walk in) before we were born. :)

There is an appointed time for every matter under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Thus I'm fond of writing,

There was a time to wander in darkness, and a season to labor under the sun;
There was a time to be lost, and a season to be found.
A time for wounds, and a season for healing,
A time to be buried with Him in death, and a season to rise with Him in Life.

Our Father draws us to His Son Jesus Christ and He commits us into His hand. This is where we remain to the glory of God!

1) Did you have a complete change of heart and mind, regarding sin and God, trusting completely in Jesus Christ, in love, when you supposedly "accepted a gift"?

Supposedly?  You are questioning my salvation, again?

Yep.  Being born again and saved is a spiritual rebirth.

2) Do you thank God and give him the glory, for giving you that repentance and faith, or do you claim that you generated those yourself, thus boasting and giving yourself the glory?

I will try to answer this loaded question.  God allowed me to choose my destiny, as He does with us all; to choose His gift of salvation, or decline it.

You would seem to think that choosing to receive a gift is somehow works.  It's not.  I performed NO WORKS, and contributed in no way to saving myself.  God did that.  I simply made a choice to receive a gift.

I guess in your fatalistic view, you find it absolutely shocking and maybe even impossible that God gave us a choice that we can freely make, in any matter?

An example of works would be to claim that Baptism partially saved me, as if my efforts in being dunked in water contributed to my salvation.

Choosing salvation is not a works-based salvation.

You don't want to turn from sin, until God makes you born again, then you do want to turn from sin to God.

Salvation starts with God, not with man.  It is God who decides whose heart to open to the gospel, giving that person repentance and faith.  If he did not do this, then not one person would repent and believe.

My point was that being saved in not just about "accepting an offer"; it is about repenting and believing in Jesus Christ.

This is arrogance of the worst kind!  It is GOD who predestines!  You do not choose your destiny, God chose your destiny, before the foundation of the world.

You are just repeating your heresy over and over again, without engaging with the biblical points that refute you, so I'm going to leave it here and hope that God softens your heart.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
