How did humanity and the world get in this sorry state it is in now? Certainly there is a disconnection from the divine spirit, that which animates all this. It is as if the spirit has left the landscape, and what is left is a sad landscape and a people who have blacked out, that is to say, forgotten divinity, and what is left is a kind of walking, materialist zombie.

The zombie is a interesting metaphor, cause it is modern man. A devourer of both brain and spirit, just turn on the TV to see. What is left? just nastiness. A disgusting, psychothic community of the lower desires that don´t work, why would one want to have children in such a world?

it seems as if the flesh and the material world is corrupted beyond repair at this time. It´s a barren desert.

Certainly it´s all the lower desires of the human ego that has created this nightmare. The moneymen at top of the hierarchy, and soulless eaters at the bottom with their toys. The western world is all about toys and money, just look at christmas celebrations.

I can see no future for this world, and this human community, it is as if the spirit has left it to rot. And maybe thats how it needs to be. Cause what is left in this world of greatness and divinity? What is left that stems from the soul? Not much.

The world has forgotten its roots, and a tree without roots dies. And it feels like this is what is happening in the world now. And it might be that this is the way it needs to be, for those who reject it to connect to that which is above this mess. The house is burning, and those who chooses to stay inside to play with their toys will go down in the fire.

A pretty accurate description of the situation. The reason Jesus came. The reason Jesus gave His life. Jesus is the silver lining around those dark clouds. There is no hope for people who decide to feed those lower desires and never think to look at where we all fell from. The person who dies with the most toys wins? Yes, they win a nice spot in Hell if they are not saved.

Pursuit of anything down here is pointless without a reason. Jesus is that reason.

Yes, don´t take before it is given to you. That´s seems to be the main message in the Garden of Eden story. And if it is given, then one comes down here to do service, not for oneself but for the whole, i.e. Jesus. The human id,ego, superego structure however comes here for all the wrong reasons and causes suffering. It takes, for itself. And devours. It is the snake, the devil, and all the demons of hell. That which is cut off from the divine.

The ugliness of sin cannot be adequately described with words.  When I look out over His creation, I don't see a barren world devoid of His Spirit.  I see a beautiful creation, where mans hands have not disturbed.   When I look upon what man has done to this world, it is very ugly, but the ugliness of man does not diminish the beauty of God.

I eagerly look forward to the return of Jesus, and beyond to the New Heaven, New Earth and the New Jerusalem.

From the moment Adam sinned, the only greatness in this world was God. And God has not left us, we have left him.

Consider a fine Tiffany Lamp,  supreme craftsmanship and play of light, warm and cold at the same time. It has a reason, a purpose and a calling. But unless you plug it in , it is just 1o pounds of scrap metal and glass

So too the human soul. It was created for great and mighty things, but unless it is plugged into God, it is just junk. The more prideful we get in our accomplishments, the more self absorbed we get, and today's society is extremely narcissistic, the less likely we are going to seek to plug in to God.

But do not lose hope, none of this is a surprise to God, he has seen they whole spectrum of the history and time to come of man, and has made his plans.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
