Read my post. Go back to my original post and read it for what it actually states. I was misquoted more than once. Go back and (re-)read my original post for what it states, and the say "Amen," because it is in fact true and correct when not misquoted and misrepresented. There is no argument. Those who imagine there is an argument there are imagining it.

I Apologize for my words Josheb, what i should of said is this, I think when we teach others of scripture and they learn something the praise should be towards God and not our selves per say if that makes sense. that is why i commented on the praise Josheb thing. I am still learning to bite my tongue on things haha..

I Apologize Josheb

Soon we are going to run in some disagreement or as some say the storm has began to brew already, but that should not stop us for trying to clarify the issues at hand.

@Your closest friendnt

I'm a very loving kind person and don't see this happening with you or anyone here. I love to discuss God's word, but never to "WRANGLE" over His word …(2 Tim. 2:14)""warn them before God that they are to avoid wranglings over words, which does no good but only ruins those who are listening."

Your response got a little "wordy" and lengthy for me, so maybe you could clarify your statement for me in a shorter post.

It would really help me understand so I can respond to you in complete understanding.

John 5:30, "I can of mine own self do nothing: "AS I HEAR", I judge: and my judgment is just; because "I SEEK NOT MY OWN WILL", but "THE WILL OF MY FATHER" which hath sent me."

As I get older, and after studying many decades, more and more I read scripture as being authored by God through the writers and through Jesus, as the verse above clearly states, and other verses do also.

Yes Jesus did say that in Matthew 7:13 and Luke 13:23-24, but the bible is Gods story to the entire human race, and God is Jesus in human form, as we all know, and so I tend to think and speak in broader terms now than I used to, and it's my way of giving people who read this the credit for already knowing God is Jesus.

I hope that answers your question my friend. GOD BLESS YOU .

My name is ARRABON

In the second paragraph the statement

*"I read scriptures as been author by God through the writers and through Jesus ".*

Scripture as been author by God through a) the writers and b) through Jesus,

As the VERSE above clearly states. In John 5:30.

No John 5:30 it does not state that.

This is what I am desperately trying to point out to you is that the verse above in John 5:30 it does not state that.

It another issue about what it states and what it does not state and that too.

But without looking into that we can with a simple reading say that it does not say anything that "God is the author of scriptures through the writters and through Jesus.

And if you say that God is the Author of scripture through Jesus as through the writers then you are saying that Jesus is not God. Which it is what Jesus Christ said.

Well @Your closest friendnt.

I do believe we have hit an impass of what we understand and believe.

There are many verses that must be linked together to not only form a thought, but form an understanding of who God is and His plans.

You can't just take one verse out of the context of the bible and say that's what it means, when there are so many other verses that validate what the entire bible is about and try to change that by your understanding of one verse, which may or may not be correct.

I believe we are just on different places on the road to our eternal glory and cannot communicate on the same level.

Your a good loving brother, and maybe someday on another topic we may be able to connect better.

God bless you as you search for God's truth as we all are doing.

 @Your closest friendnt.

What you have to understand is context doesn't just relate to the subject matter around it, but to the entire rest of the bible around it, as God has given it meaning and a place to fit in scripture that helps complete his whole message to the world.

You have to have abroad view of Gods entire message, while studying a topic, and get to see the GENIUS of not only His plan, but the way He gave it to us - It's just BEAUTIFUL, and once you can do this you will be amazed as I was at the true message he has always had for us.

Definetly not the one man has been trying to give us for 2000 years since Paul's time, and those who tried to dishonor Paul and the true message he brought, especially in the 2 books of Corinthians.

Love in Christ and many blessings

Yes we have heard a lot about context. But what about thinking Godly thoughts? Will it end in a fleshy failure?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
