Thinking about this scripture, it says to rejoice in the Lord always. And it teaches us to think about good things of the Spirit. We should love one another. Im thinking about that. Amen?

Hello Whyme, it was a time when I went through some very difficult situations, and I remember something very strange that happened.

One of our customers who was a dedicated believer gave me a few scriptures to mediate on and he told me that it will help my mind to cool down, as my mind had gone in overdrive and would drive me nuts, thinking thinks I did not want to think.

This Philippians verses to think what is good and what is of a good report...and God will restore peace upon you it is what happened to me.

It took some time and I had to counter my own mind trying to input new data in my own mind and after some time as I tried to pray trying to counter my own mind to think of something good, suddenly something happened and the peace of the Lord came to my mind and from their time on it was different and I learn to discern my thoughts if there is something I did not want to think I said I do not want to think about it and I tried to think of something else.

This is a good advice to learn to take control of our own thoughts, because sometimes they may not be our own thoughts, but by resisting and stand our ground we cannot be conquer, but rather we become the conquerors even the conquerors of our own old self.

We are told to "Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart". (Psalm 37:4) It is good if our heart is pure before God so we only have Godly desires in our heart.

Sometimes my thoughts are consumed for the cares of this life. The Lord teaches me to think differently i believe. Instead of worry or want, i can trust God for all things that i need in this life. Thinking about material things all the time only takes away our peace. In my opinion.

NASB Hebrews 13:5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,” 6 so that we confidently say,

“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?”

Question. The word gets sown in our heart right? So how does one make their heart ready for the seed? Or does God do that? I wonder if this has to do with proper thinking. Perhaps all one must do is think properly? And pray of course. Just an idea i had while meditating on this topic.

Matthew 13:22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

I attended a church where he preached at least 160 sermons on different things that make up the mind of Christ. He would have a whole sermon on just one word. For example: Kindness, Courage, Boldness, Hope, Dedicated, Gentle, a sound mind and so on.

What is the mind of Christ? Is it the Holy Spirit? I would think so. It must be what we learn when we read the scriptures and meditate on them. We learn about the Lord and His ways and we adopt that thinking.

Philippians 2:5 Have this attitude [e]in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be [f]grasped, 7 but [g]emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and [h]being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross. 9 For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to [j]desire and to work for His good pleasure.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
