When will we rule and reign with Christ? What will it be like? Is it yet future?

Thank you Charlie.

Whilst you ponder on all this I have something else for you to ponder on.

Revelation 12 is mainly speaking about this Woman.  This woman is also spoken throughout the old testament and in a few places of the New testament.

I explained already who this woman is.  She is holy Jerusalem, God's city, his Kingdom on 'earth', and her name is Zion.  God gave Abraham and the Prophets, and the 12 Patriarch's access to this City to find out what God's will is and to become a people united in one truth by serving the true One God..  But after they all died, Zion had no more children to teach as the children all went a wondering into a different land under a different mother where there is much corruption.  That other woman is spiritually called Babylon the Great, another city which God calls 'the world', where the whole system is corrupt.

God wants children 'born' out of his City.  To be truly born out of his city one has to put on the cloak of righteousness and love the truth above all else.  This is our first love - the truth.  Through loving the truth, we find Jesus who leads us to God, as he is the good Shepherd, the way, the truth and the life

  John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

We all know this, but what we don't know openly is that to be born of this Woman, we have to first go through a transformation of the heart to become godly.  We have to grow in knowledge and wisdom and understanding and holiness before we can take part in the resurrection.  We have to prove who we serve.  God knows who are his faithful servants and them will he feed.  Jesus was the first man ever who was born of this woman, because he was the first one resurrected from the dead.  The woman in Rev 12 who brought forth a man child is not speaking about Mary (even though we know she did give birth), but it is speaking about this other Woman whom the whole chapter is about.  Before the Woman delivered the man child, is speaking not of Jesus' birth, but of his death and Jesus resurrection.  Jesus was born again, the second time, not out of flesh,  but out of this kingdom of the woman.  Born again out of the city of Truth.  Satan who loves death, and who tries to claim all the souls of the dead, adding the numbers of the dead to his kingdom as a victory, could not keep Jesus there.  This was a big blow to him as God's woman in the past only delivered children who would go to the grave.  This is what Satan and his angels were eagerly awaiting on...for the woman to deliver Jesus - another one for the grave and to claim that death not only as another ordinary victory but as a huge victory.  His plan backfired.  Now because of Jesus resurrection, he can not keep the true followers of Christ in the grave forever.  That power has been lost to him.  His main motive now is to stop these faithful from being resurrected.  He can only do that by blocking them from the truth so that they go wondering to another mother, his woman who corrupts the truth, or to put them into a corner under so much pressure, that they will yield to his will and forsake the Lord their God when persecution arises. 

So when this Woman received all the labour pains, going through travail, it was during Jesus ministry for all the persecutions and suffering and violence she went through to get this child delivered out of the womb and into the resurrection.  We know Jesus suffered but this chapter is speaking about the Woman's pain to get this child delivered. 

The woman is about to go into labour pains again when her hour is ready.  This time she will give birth to many in one day.  This is going to be a painful labour.  Stay in Zion's womb so that we are not born dead.

May God strengthen all his saints.

 

Psalms 87:5   And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

Isaiah 66:7   Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
 

 Revelation 12:2   And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered

 

Looks to me like the labour pains began after the man child was born flesh according to Isaiah.

Indeed. We are seated in Heavenly places right now as His Kings and Priests.
