After reading the conversation between the opster, alive and one other person. I have to agree that what was initially intended in the opening post, isn't exactly clarified without first reading the entire article that was linked in the post.

I seldomly click on links for a variety of reason's. And a person should not have to click on links and read articles before asking for clarification from the opster.

Battles are inevitable. They are going to come your way whether you like it or not. The only control you have, is to choose which battles you will fight, and which battles you will allow to slide on past. If you do not learn how to do this, then you will spend huge amounts of emotional and maybe even physical energy fighting every single battle that pops up.

The above quote sounds awkward when it comes to overall battles in the Christian life. And the bible teaches that these will happen, but think about this for a minute. Which temptations (battles) do you choose to fight, and which do you choose to let slide?

Do you see why a few have asked for clarification as to what you were meaning with the above quote? Because our battles as Christians are not limited to playing mr or miss/mrs nice person as the article speaks about. Our spiritual battles are varied.

Will all due respect no I don’t especially when I added

“Sometimes the best response is no response. You don’t have to respond to everything that comes your way.

Choose your battles wisely. After all, life isn't measured by how many times you stood up to fight. It's not winning battles that makes you happy, but it's how many times you turned away and chose to look into a better direction. Life is too short to spend it on warring. Fight only the most, most, most important ones, let the rest go.”

This was added right after the reading even if one did not click the link so I felt there was enough context there for one to understand and the first couple of respondents got the message.

I will say though every message is not for everyone but some will get it. I didn’t expect everyone to receive my message but it’s here for whoever wants to receive it.

We all operate differently. For example If I read through a confusing post and saw that it had been clarified I would not ask the poster do you see why some didn’t understand when in fact some did understand without further clarification being needed and clarification was already provided for those who did need it. We are all just different. Some are more confrontational than others and it may just be because certain messages are not for them.

The Bible is very clear and answers all questions for those who want to receive it yet some still question what has already been answered and what they have even heard explained by men who do believe the Bible. After reading the Bible and hearing discussions on the Bible they will still ask questions because they do not receive the message.

Rarely does anything on this forum get total agreement no matter how plain and true it may be. I have learned to accept this here. It’s just the way it is.

What I observe in some posts in this thread are sideways (partially veiled) complaints of the forum and individuals. What I see is a kind of gossip that is not helpful, edifying or Godly.

If there is something or someone specific that anyone feels ought to be addressed, than Jesus Himself and others writing in epistles inform us how these things are to be dealt with. Go directly to the perceived offender and reconcile. If it is a complaint of the forum itself, then take it to the Mods or to George.

This way is much healthier and good for you and will please our Lord.

If this shoe doesn't fit---than ignore it.

James 4:11 (NAS20S)    Do not speak against one another, brothers and sisters. The one who speaks against a brother or sister, or judges his brother or sister, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.

James 5:9 (NAS20S) Do not complain, brothers and sisters, against one another, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing   right at the door.

Matt. 5:21 (NAS20S)   “ You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘ YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be answerable to the court.’ 22 “But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be answerable to the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘ You good-for-nothing,’ shall be answerable to   the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the   fiery hell. 23 “Therefore, if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.

I have also seen this on other threads, not just this one.

What I was hoping people would see is a message about not answering to everything thrown their way then there would be less arguments here.

This post was not intended for those who love to argue, (battle), or confront, but it’s intended for those who prefer peace but find themselves entangled in back and forth bickering all because of choosing to fight an unnecessary battle.

I believe when we give messages that some are opposed to there are always others reading in agreement who choose not to say anything so we should not be discouraged because opposers speak up more.

The message will reach those that it’s intended to reach and we must understand not all will agree.

How should I feel about promoting peace on a Christian forum and being opposed? I should feel that I am walking as Christ walked. A great deal of his messages were opposed too. When we walk in Christ we should expect problems not pats on the back.

The rocks on the shore do not push against the waves as they crash upon it, neither do they give way.  They stand, firm and resolute.  This should be our stance. Tell the Truth, Stand for  the truth, do not be moved from the truth and do not attack from the truth. Let those who wish to batter us with their prideful postures make their noise. For the crash and the splash lasts but for a moment and then falls back into the sea

I give all my battles to God. I take them one day at a time and one foot in front of the other with God. I ask Him for guidance and direction.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
