Where can I go from your Spirit? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; . . .

if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me,

your right hand will hold me fast.

Psalm 139:7-10

A heathen philosopher once asked a Christian,

“Where is God”? The Christian answered,

“Let me first ask you: Where is He not?

For the Christian the witness of the Bible is that God is with you.

See Josh 1:9, Drug 31:6  & Matt 28:20.

Let the non Christian ask his question, he isn't interested in the answer, only in destroying ones faith.

God is everywhere! :) ...Selah

Psalm 139:7-10

7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in [a]hell, behold, You are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.

You're Everywhere

Like the rain that falls to the earth below
Watering the seed to grow
So it is with Your precious word, O Lord
It won't return until I know that
You're everywhere
You're everywhere
Like wind that blows no one really knows
From where it comes or where it goes
So it is with You Holy Spirit, Lord
Falling down on us to show that
Like the rain that falling
(You're everywhere) Like the wind that's blowing
(You're everywhere) Like the sun upon my face
I feel the warmth in Your embrace
You are everywhere
My Lord, now I truly know
That I could never go from Your presence
My God, You are everywhere
From the lowest depths to the heavens
You're always there

I really ❤️ this song.  Posted in Christian music videos just now...May take a little while to show up so you can go to YouTube.  I love how the guitar picks out the harmony notes.  Very cool.:)

In referring to God, it can be said that He is "omnipresent"- meaning everywhere at the same time.

The subject of how God is everywhere at the same time is a hard thing for the mind to grasp.

I am reminded of the funny little story of two boys, Tommie and Billy. The 2 boys were always in the neighborhood streets getting into trouble of one sort or another, and one day the went into the neighborhood church, and were messing up the furniture and stealing little things, putting them into their pockets etc.

Well, the pastor caught them, and brought them into his office for a talk to try to straighten these 2 little boys out, and to get them on the right path. So, the pastor thought that if he could convince the 2 boys that God was everywhere, watching them, that they would have the fear of God, and stop getting into trouble, stealing, etc.  So, after sitting them down in the pastors office, he looked at Tommie and said "Young man . . . Where is God???". Tommie didn't know what to say, but he was a little scared and said nothing. Then the pastor asked again "Young man, WHERE IS GOD!!?!?!?!?!????". Tommie said nothing, but was getting afraid now. Then the 3rd time the pastor asked "Young man . . . I WANT YOU TO TELL ME,  WHERE IS GOD!!! ???.

Then Tommie, very scared,  got up and ran out of the office and said "Come on Billie! They lost God and now they are trying to pin it on us!!!" LOL

Its a cute joke, but, sometimes we all have a little Tommie inside us, that misses the concept that God is everywhere, and that nothing we do misses His attention, and also, that we can call on Him for help in our times of need.

I hope  my comment/joke was not too off topic, but it came to my remembrance when I read your subject line.  LOL

Grace and Peace . .  Ray. . . . .

God is not defined by creation for it, (creation), is at the very begin begun... Creation points to God not encompass Him for that is impossible! God is Spirit for His Being is without the idea of begin or end ... He simply is unique in His existence and there is no other like Him! So when we try to ascertain within our limited spectrum the idea of God we are held in the limitation of our begin and as we grow in our new birth we find faith does not demand from God but waits expectantly to know Him as He 'IS'...   limitless can only be, for us, in thought but for God it 'IS' His experience alone as God... So where is He~ the answer is yes...

I agree with all the ways you describe our Lord and Savior.  Thank you for sharing.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
