CDC: Unexpectedly High Number of Young Adults Suffering Heart Problems After 2nd COVID Shot

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report revealed Thursday that an unexpectedly high number of young adults are experiencing heart inflammation after receiving their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to the preliminary study, there have been 275 confirmed cases of myocarditis or pericarditis in people ages 16 to 24 who have received two doses of Pfizer’s or Moderna’s vaccine, CNBC reported.

That does not surprise me at all. Many people who received the vaccine may not have problems with it now but may have some serious problems in the future. 

The authorities tell us to get the vaccine and get rid of Covid. Getting the vaccine is not going to make Covid go away. 

It usually takes the FDA a long time to efficiently approve a drug or a vaccine. I think the FDA rushed in approving the Covid vaccine. I have had to deal with the FDA once and I was not impressed.

The FDA has not approved any Covid-19 Vaccines.

They were given emergency authorization to be used, yet they have not been approved.  There is a difference between the two categories.

1. The myocarditis events are very rare.

2. The myocarditis can be completely reversed with a short course of antihistamines or steroids.

I see your point. But never the less the vaccine was given authorization by the FDA which is pretty scary. The FDA is a government agency. I don't think any government agency can be trusted today.

The vaccine safety trials were rigorous and complete due to the huge number of volunteers. It usually takes trials much longer to gather volunteers in such significant numbers.

COVID was the 3rd leading cause of death in the US last year, behind heart disease and cancer.

Serious complications from the COVID vaccines run around 10 per millions doses. No vaccine is ever 100% safe for 100% of people, but in this particular situation, the vaccines are by far the lower risk.
