BTW i am not trying to "win the argument". I have posted scriptural evidence that refutes an error. I want only the truth on the matter. An ANCIENT SOURCE would be appreciated.

Also, there is NO personal attack coming from me, nor did I make any accusations against you. You made a claim, I looked into it. I found nothing of what you said of an ancient document. Just authors citing other authors.

Coot,

I haven't seen it. I am sure you can post the evidence. The book you referenced is online, maybe you have a pager number? I maintain that I have not seen it posted  by pre trib believers. C'mon bro, break the long spell.

Amazon is always a good place to check.  Many books there by both Arnold Fruchtenbaum and Alfred Edesheim.  AE probably delves into more detail on social life in the first century.

The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah by Alfred Edersheim (PDF)

Just leave me a page number, I'll check it out in a while.

You are on your own.  I pointed you in the right direction but you will have to go further on your own.

Another good one by Alfred Efersheim is “Sketches In Jewish Social Life” that also deals with the marriage ritual.

Will check that it out too.

As for the first one, a secret snatching away cannot be found.

It is mostly commentary that is not referenced. A "Jewish parable" is discussed a bit and called a "preversion" ( manipulation)  as the Talmudic rabbis are very prone to write at length to insert their views on scripture.

NONE of it is scripture.

Of course there is a pre trib rapture. It is our hope in glory. After the work of of the cross, we are graced with the only requirement of belief. And God does that for us. So many trust in their own fortitude and good works. Nay I say. It is a complete work of God. Because He knows from the foundation of the earth whom He will choose. He knows dark from light, evil from good. Some people are dark and evil from before they were born perhaps. God knows.

Hi Kristin,

I'd be glad to take a look at any scriptural evidence you provide.

Ok. I drive a truck and only have a phone, but I will give scripture to back my belief. Give me a bit a time though. Thank you.

I would direct you to Through the Bible with Les Feldick. I used to be so sad and confused about everything. Give it a look. I’m no theologian but I know the truth when I see it. Please look at his bible study.
