Where is the battle of Armageddon going to take place?

While it's probably true the main action happens on the plain there is nothing canceling a literal destruction of the armies on the mountains of Israel. 

One, Jerusalem will be surrounded. The kings of the east will be on the march across the Euphrates. The kings of the earth are gathered to battle near Jerusalem,

And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East.

13And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. 14These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.

There's this real nasty bunch of aliens riding chimeras set to kill a third a mankind at around the same time.

"Now the horses and riders in my vision looked like this: The riders had breastplates the colors of fire, sapphire, and sulfur. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths proceeded fire, smoke, and sulfur. 18A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke, and sulfur that proceeded from their mouths. 19For the power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; indeed, their tails were like snakes, having heads with which to inflict harm."

Even if the last group isn't a part of the armies that come against Jerusalem at the end [I suspect that group will be there] there are at least several hundred  million coming against Israel. China and India could account for 200 million alone. Armies and soldiers will be teeming in tiny little Israel, in and on every hill, plain, city and mountain. Literally. 

It proves nothing that there isn't a mountain on a plain. That's normal geography. Plains can be in wide valleys surrounded by mountains. Armies take up positions on high ground, like mountains on either side of a plain, or overlooking a city. Both situations can be true at the same time, and will be. 

Is it possible the final battle is in the old plain of Issachar well to the north of Jerusalem? And is it possible that's the truth of where Armageddon takes place? Sure. Armies will be gathered there almost certainly. There's going to be many, many millions flooding Israel at that time. The main action is clear from Joel, the valley of decision, the Valley of Jehoshaphat, or the Kidron, right outside Jerusalem.

I like what you wrote there.

Concerning Jerusalem.  There's an evil wind coming from the North and a huge smoke.  This is who will occupy Jerusalem.  These are the armies of the FP's kingdom getting that land secure for him before his arrival.  Israel will be taken over.  First lot of intruders.  They will not be kind to the inhabitants.

The FP's kingdom will rule for 3.5 yrs, but just before his time expires, the Mede's will stand up.  It's the Mede's (Islam) that will start off the third world war making their way into Israel by crossing the dried up Eurphrates river like you mentioned.  They will have powerful allies also, and their enemies will join the fight as well.  The two hundred million soldiers would most likely be all the soldiers combined with their weapons of war.  This is the war of nation against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  The inhabitants of Israel are caught in the crossfire.  The FP is desperately trying to keep a hold of his kingdom.  So this is the war that will be 'cut short' or 'else no flesh would be saved'.  This war will be all throughout Israel, and also throughout the earth, but the bulk of the soldiers in Israel.  This is the 6th plague given to the whole earth, not just Israel and will affect every living person.  Total Chaos.

Christ stops this war by appearing in the sky.  Everyone is afraid.  Through the dragon, the FP and his kingdom tell a lie. The fake media goes out again like thousands of frogs humming the same tune.   This lie unites all those armies to prepare war against Christ, so they are told to assemble in Meggido to prepare for war.  I imagine they plan to fight from there, but Christ now lures them to the Mt of Olives.  Instead of pointing their weapons to the air, they now have a target on land.  They prepare an ambush to surround the Mt of Olives where Christ is standing.  They will surround the city of Jerusalem.  Those valleys are where Christ wants those soldiers buried.  It's possible those two valley's could be deepened and widened by the earthquake when Christ descends on to the Mt of Olives.

So it must be noted there's two different wars here, nations and kingdoms against kingdoms in Israel and throughout the earth, then the war against the Lamb surrounding the Mt of Olives.

We thus notice that the in-between time between the abandonment of Tel Megiddo and Sirmium is 2 BC, the approximate epoch of the birth of Jesus Christ.  Thus we might say that Armageddon represents the ‘old’ beliefs and the Sirmium the ‘new’ Christian beliefs.

I think you are confusing two different things. The reference to mount Zion on the sides of the North is not a reference to the Northern direction in general. It might possibly relate to the 12 gated city of Jerusalem to the North of mount Zion. It is inside these gates that Jesus was crucified(Calvary, or Golgotha). 

 

Now the Isaiah 41:25 reference to the North and East direction is interesting. The Sun the Moon and the planets on the ecliptic rise in the Eastern direction. But if someone considers the Northern and Eastern direction at the same time this points to a date closer to the Summer Solstice. The Giza pyramids contained causeways that led from the mortuary temples to the valley temples. Of the three main Giza pyramids it is only that of Khufu(Cheops) that points to the North-Eastern direction. Could this reference relate to the Great Pyramid and the shafts? It's possible. But there is an alternative. The general North-Eastern direction could be a geographic reference to where the Holy Land is in relation to Egypt. It's all a point of perspective. If one was stationed in Hellas, this direction would be South-East. But the early Jews came out of Egypt not Hellas. The Sun relates to the Southern direction because no matter were it rises, either in the North-Eastern(Summer Solstice), or the South-Eastern(Winter Solstice) direction, when it is at it's highest point, that is when it crosses the Meridian it is to the South.

Safon. The evil north is a cosmic 'location' from whence all that assails is reported to originate. Remember, Mt Hermon is in the region of the gates of hell from the Israeli perception. It is also north of Jerusalem or Mt Zion. In all prophecies, there is a weather eye open to the north.. the expected Cosmic enemy comes from there.

This city is our sanctuary because it's where truth can be found, and the light comes out of this city.  This city rules over the congregation of the Lord because the Word of God is there. This city has it's own laws that come from above.   Satan has darkened this city through his host preventing that light to shine through. He has corrupted Zion by taking over the 'north' to rule over the what?......the congregation.  He starts there where he has placed his seat deceiving and deceiving.  The 'north' is darkened now and all the ruling leaders and influential men of the earth, with their armies are spiritually residing with him in the 'north'.  These are the kings of the north, the intruders...not necessarily from a general direction but from this spirit of Satan.

You have not provided any proof that God's kingdom is in the North. The whole Earth is God's kingdom and mount Zion which is a real place in our physical world.

We thus are surprised to see that the isopsephy value of Hitler as 'KhITLER' is 473. But this is the isopsephy value of the Hellenic name for North as 'BORRAS', of the word for continent as 'EPEIROS', and of the word genesis.

Of course, I have the way off belief,  anyway

I believe the Lord gathers 'the armies' USING AND/OR THROUGH the workings of SATAN, (NOT much different than He has used others to accomplish His will, Cyrus a great example) who is being worshipped by the whole world, STANDING where he ought not. I think it is just following the natural order of the thing that have been taking place.  

I also believe that this is when and where the two witnesses will be killed, their testimony having ended so to the 'tormenting of Satan and his kingdom' and the 3 1/2 days, proving  to those who NEVER BELIEVED BEFORE THAT CHRIST WAS RISEN WILL SEE WITH THEIR OWN EYES JUST WHO TRULY HAS THE POWER OF LIFE AND DEATH. SATAN COMPLETELY EXPOSED, THOSE DECEIVED HAVING EYES COMPLETELY OPENED, TIME TO RUN AND HIDE......
