In other words "ARE WE THERE YET?"

No, it's still just the beginning of the end.

It's a sunny peaceful day here. I'm free to relax. Let the world end whenever, it'll mean no more pain and suffering, no more sickness and death, and no more darkness.

The path of righteousness leads to eternal life in Christ.

Elders rejoice that your work on earth is almost done.

Amen.  Don't understand why some think it's something to fear. I greatly look forward to it.  Can't be too soon for me.

friends this is not about fearing but being aware of what is to come. There is no bed of roses for Christians as the time approaches. Believers are going to be tested by the antichrist. There will be great persecutions. We are to be sober and vigilant ass the world is getting darker every day.

Let me share 3 scripture that says exactly what will Happen, but first we need to understand Daniel  9:27  Remember Jesus quoted Daniel in Matt 24

Daniel  9:27  And he ( the antichrist) shall confirm the Covenant with many for  one week ( 7Years) and in the midst if the week he shall cause the oblation to cease ( breaking  the covenant at 3& 1/2 years) and for the over spreading of abominations he shall make it desolate even until the consummation and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Jesus said the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel and then there shall be great tribulation such as never been known. Go to MATT 24 AND READ. Look at great tribulation. This is only meant  for the saints and none other. Not the world. Turn back to Daniel 7:25. I will write verse 25 for you. and he shall speak great words against the most High and shall wear out the saints ( great persecution)and to think to change times and laws and they  (The saints) shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of times (this is  3&/2 years).

Now go to Revelation 15: 2 We see the saints who over came during this terrible time in Daniel 7:25 having been swept up to heaven to glorify God.

And I saw as it were a sea o glass mingled with fire and them  that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name stand on the sea of glass having the harps of God.

Then in Chapter 16 we see the seven angels pouring out the seven viles of Gods wrath upon the unbelieving world.

This is what Gods word says.

God bless

Now, I'm not one of those "Chicken (Sorry @Chicken coop2) little types", that runs around screaming the world is ending, and I don't stand on a street corner with a banner that proclaims the "end is coming."

BUT, at my age, nearly 80, and what I experience now as opposed to what I grew up with beginning in the 40's, there has been a "gigantic radical change" in nearly every aspect of our culture. Even the weather is changing radically, and so is our home, the earth, changing radically.

Everything on this earth has an expiration date, and so does the earth. Like all of us, and everything on earth, the earth is starting to disintigrate slowly. Giant weather changes and polar regions melting at unprecidented rates.

Like all of us, it's days are numbered. The world calls it "global warming", but God calls all what is happening "Warnings" of what's to come.

I live in Oregon and the weather has been changing here slowly for years. But this year the weather went "ballistic", and there is more to come.

A lot of what God says will happen hasn't happened yet, but there is more to come as God's word tells us, and in His patience He is warning us, but things that do happen seem to be coming at us faster and faster.

During this last winter, we had drastic icy cold weather like we hadn't seen in over 40 years, and then this last weekend we had the hottest weather ever recorded in Oregon - EVER!

Imagine parts of Oregon being 119 degrees, while Portland was 115 degrees.

The weather people were calling it "EPIC.", and the heatwave we're expecting they called "EPIC" also - Unprecidented !!

To me, God is moving in more dramatic ways as a warning that the time is getting shorter, and Christs return is getting closer.

If you watch the news you have probably seen Portland and all the downtown violence in the streets at night.

Much of Portland's downtown is boarded up, and the homeless are living all over town, and people are refusing to go there. Much of it looks like an embattled town in a war zone

I never thought in my lifetime I would see things that are happening, like what I've seen and experienced.

You should see Gay Pride here just having a blowout celebration, and it's all over the local TV and supported by the local news.

Lastly, this is a time for Christians to be excited and talk with people and see what they think. Are they scared? Has the pandemic had a real scary effect on their lives. Are they out of work? Out of money and food  ?Is their rent past due?

ANY THOUGHTS??

Good morning Arrabon. Being just a decade behind you, I have witnessed and experienced the same. To my knowledge, after Noah's flood, our planets weather has always been cyclic, as written records over history have attested. I personally believe glaciers, the ice age [mentioned in Job], and the polar ice caps; are one of the visible results of the after effects of Noah's flood, and the real climate change.

But yes, this is but one of the signs of our time, and time is short. Romans 1:25 (KJV) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen

In our lifetime, the environmentalists and globalists are worshipping the planet instead of the Creator. Complete with an "Earth Day" and pending global taxes on a nations carbon omissions. Even the socialist Pope has this worship on his lips.

Christian's watching and paying attention, clearly see a "convergence" in everything prophetic aligning and taking shape. Had someone told me in the 60's - 70's what this world would be like; the changes in morals, laws, attitudes, divisions, lawlessness, calling evil good, and good evil, LBGTQ running the show, etc. I would have thought, not in my lifetime or so fast!

As you mentioned pertaining to weather and natural disaster; major media is using words like; historic, unprecedented, never before in history, unreal, monumental, etc. They see the drastic environmental changes occurring, the problems facing humanity, and are looking for a "Man with a plan" to solve the globes crisis.

I believe this 'climate' change will be "a" or "the" mechanism uniting the globe [along with perceived pandemics] into action, and the "One World Government."

We clearly see the signs of the Tribulation approaching; described in Daniel, Revelation and Matthew 24:. We even see the alignments, defense pacts and treaties in place for the nations involved in the Gog-Magog invasion of Israel. Never before has Russia been involved in the middle-east. In our lifetime, Turkey and Iran were friends and allies with Israel, look how fast that changed.

I could go on and on, but I got a warning my cyber ink is drying up :whistling:

I guess my point is: We are blessed and privileged to live in and witness all these changes and events leading up to our Lord's return. We are the terminal generation [IE. the generation that witnesses the rebirth of Israel as a nation for a second time].

Words cannot express what a glorious day it will be, when we hear the trumpet, and the shout of the archangel, and hear the Lord say, "come up hither." I reason from scripture, and feel in my heart, that 'day' is ever so close! If my Lord and Savior does not call me home first; I truly believe our Rapture is at the door; and the Father is about to tell His Son; go fetch your bride. I get all excited thinking about that day!

I agree with your post.

But if the end is near, or even if the end is much further off, God gives us this wonderful directive to live by to keep our lives constant and stable and still growing.

1st Peter 4:7-11,

7 "The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Mark 13:33-37

"Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning— lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.”

Matthew 24:44

"Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."

Luke 21:36

"But stay alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Matthew 24:42

"Therefore, stay alert, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming."

I posed this original question because the younger Christians haven't experienced what you and I and others of our age have, and they haven't read and studied the bible as much as we have.

God has given you and I and others of our age, this wisdom of old age and experience for others sake, not to be an alarmist, but to help others understand what we are see happening, and how to continue on in their lives as we are, but also as the bible says, to be ALERT, AWARE of what is happening and be prepared, or like we are doing, continually being prepared, by serving , ministering and teaching. Don't stagnate in your faith, but continually grow.

I still do my ministry work. I still study and research the scriptures, I'm still there for my family and neighbors. I still walk my neighborhood, and visit with neighbors, and sometimes talk about God.

No need to be am alarmist, but just give people something to think about in this new "NORMAL" of violence, in people and weather, and other "Naturally occuring" events all over the world that are growing in strength and occurance.

I haven't changed any visually or how I interact with people, I just have  a new topic from God to talk about, and ask people in my life what they think. Another conversation starter about God.

To me, God needs to be in our words, and actions and prayers for others, and with others in our conversations as often as it's possible.

People are scared and unsure of the future. Some are hurting and in pain because of life circumstances or maybe they have both and need words of comforting and hope, and some of us have all that to share, and bring some peace, maybe eternal life.

Yes and the nature of apostacy has been with man since the fall. One difference is the man of sin is yet to be known so this is still relevant scripture. Matt 24 is speaking about the end. and 2 timothy 3 is more relevant today than ever. Are we not talking of the end. How many have suffered for Christ since the church began. It would be almost insulting to believe free world saints get off free. and other saints have to suffer Great Tribulation. Even now many have had their heads cut off for Christ. while you would be in some kind of fantasy.   respectfully

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
