...or a man-made doctrine that came by changing God's word to suit those who want an easy way to salvation?

I ask this question honestly, because for about the first year after receiving Christ into my life, and spending a lot of time in God's word, I started hearing things, and noticing things in the church I was attending, that didn't seem to be in unity with God's word.

I started wondering if I was in the right church, did I believe the right things, and did I really become a Christian?

Looking back, they were good questions to ask myself.

I decided to stay, but I also decided to stay in God's word the most I could, and pray that God would reveal the answers to me.

43 years later, here I am, 78 years old, and those questions have been answered, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, in Gods word, and through studying many related topics, including having a whole library of study helps that God led me to, through the Holy Spirit.

There are so many different idea's about what is true salvation, and their continues to be more and more, that I wanted the one true salvation that God speaks of in Ephesians 4:5, "One Lord, one faith, one baptism" - "ONE", meaning to the exclusion of all others. The meaning of the word "one" in context. It's an "emphatic word" that shows God's "narrowmindedness" about "HIS SALVATION," presented to man in scripture.

I have spent untold hours of study, many thousands, and uncounted large amounts of money, and given up the pleasures of some things I could have enjoyed, to afford those tools of study that would be used by the Holy Spirit, to give me the truths that I sought after.

God in His word says that their is a cost to pay for our salvation in several ways, but in $$$ I found the cost to be already taken care of, because God knew my heart, and more than abundantly supplied all my needs like he does for all my other needs.

Now, finally, after all those years, I am at peace with the answers He has supplied, and the ministry he has given me to share His truth.

Are you at peace, and sure of your salvation?

Have you and God, proven to yourself that what you believe is His truth, or are you still searching and praying like I was, and still am today as I continue my search for deeper and more complete and expanded revelations of what I already know? The "MEAT of His word now.  I will continue studying until my last breadth.

How about you?

Are you satisfied with where you are in your faith, or maybe your still searching? Searching is GREAT !!!

Salvation really isn't about church, religion, what people say.  Its about you and God.

Are you good with God?

Have you submitted yourself humbly to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His word

Is the Holy Spirit your constant companion

Do you run everything in your life through the filter "Is this God wants me to do"

Whether you are saved 1 year , 38 years (like me) or 43 (like you) If you can answer yes to the above, all is good

@Riverwalker my dear friend and brother.

On another Christian forum, I am a Moderator there, and I have been trying to explain to this person the concept of "Plurality" of God's word, to form the completeness of His message to us all.

Christianity, to me, is not always about one thing or the other, it's more about the completeness of Gods word, and the completeness of all parts of our faith including church, religion, and what people say, and how we bring them into unity and harmony to not only form our faith, but how we form relationships that allow us to be encouraging to everyone in our lives.

Maybe break down what you mean here? I don't know about "easy way". My first thoughts were along the line of "There is only One Salvation and that is Christ". I :) think it is easy.. John 3:16 Rom 10 9-10 and since He is the one that pulled at our heart He is the one that found us and its Him that will finish what He started in us. I look at like .. there is only one way one truth one life. So I dont know what you mean by easy salvation.  There are some great men women of God that stayed in His word every moment praise GOD!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
