I had a glitch like that once, here.   Still don't know what I did to make it happen.

Yeah, it was really weird, it keeps happening daily, so if I dont answer anyone I am just plain unable to. There just seems to be some Orwellian glitches in some of the strangest places lately.

Thanks for letting me know I am not seeing things lol

How can anyone tell if winter, fall, or summer is nigh by the moon? I can be dumb as rocks but I didn't know you could do that. When I read the scripture it seems to indicate elsewhere which day of the month by the new moons and when to observe the holy convocations, but I havent seen the seasons (as we might count seasons) demonstrated in scripture, unless I missed it. I am all ears if you found something.

what i am saying is i have read statements from folks about genesis 1 seasons is referring to weather seasons per say i don't think it is. but the earth is set at about 23 degrees tilt thus reason for the seasons.

Psalm 74:17

You set all the boundaries of the earth; You made the summer and winter.

Sorry, God specifically says what's there in the beginning:

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created heaven, and earth. [2] And the earth was void and empty, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God moved over the waters.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now, the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters..."

Verse 2 is not separate from verse 1, verse 2 begins the actual creation account.

What many want to do is see verse 1 as some sort of separate creation from what follows. But that is not what the text is doing.

The above translation can still be found by searching for the 1454 Gutenburg Bible.

-------

Bottom line, Jesus is not a humanoid alien from the first 'planet' that 'evolved',
it is the anti-Christ who will present himself as such.

The devil is a liar, and physical 'aliens' from other 'planets' are part of the grand lie
related to the beast and false prophet.

He shall open his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name
and His tabernacle and them that dwell in heaven.
Revelation 13:6

The whole order of the stars shall be concealed from the sinners,
and they shall error concerning them, and take them as gods.
Enoch 80:7

He waxed great even against the host of heaven,
and trampled down some of the stars to the ground.

He cast down the truth to the ground.

Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper in his hand.

Daniel 8:9-12, 25

Is God a liar, or is the creation account true?

The Creator and His Holy Scripture is perfect. Nevertheless, we need to pay attention carefully to the details in order not to jump into the conclusions.

There was a beginning to creation, as God says.   The rest of Genesis 1 and 2 are his account of what happened after that, albeit in figurative language.

At the beginning of creation, neither male nor female were there.

Of course not.   Individuals don't evolve.   Remember Christ is not His body, which He assumed in time, whereas His spirit is eternal and therefore does not change.

There's one that I cant see the moon attached to in Deut 16:9 where it speaks of counting off a certain number of days for putting a sickle to the corn. Then there was another  metioning the moon saying, when will the new moon be gone so they can actually sell the corn  (In Amos 8:5).  But I dont really see anything mentioned that represents our "winter, fall, spring, and summers" according to the moons status in scripture or how the moon is responsible for these somehow in scripture rather then a kind of sign  if I put that right.

I do see it mentioned for those other things, but for these I have sifted through scripture and cannot find anything for it.

I would be interested in someone found something and could post it so I can take a closer look

From other sources, we know how their calendar worked:

https://biblewise.com/bible_study/questions/jewish-calendar2.php

It's interesting, they have a "leap month" every so many years to keep it in sync with the seasons.

Which I had known that before.   I used to teach a public school class in astronomy, and I had a lecture on how the calendar developed, which students found hilarious, given the ways that ancient peoples tried to reconcile months and days with the actual time of revolution of the Earth around the Sun.

Fun fact; until the Gregorian calendar, the ancient Mayans had a calendar that was more accurate than anything Europeans had.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth

How did He create? With His word.
God said, let there be light and there was light.
God said, let there be a firmament, and made the firmament.
Therefore if the rest of the chapter is describing how He created,
the specifics of the creation, it follows that it is all still the beginning,
because in the beginning is when He created.

What many want to do is make verse 1 a separate creation from the rest,
and due to everything said in the chapters, and the full context
of scripture, we can not do that with the verses.
.......

Verse 8: God called the firmament Heaven (same word from verse 1)
(verse 2 through chapter 2 are the details of the creation mentioned in verse 1)

This is the history of the heavens and of the earth
when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made
the earth and the heavens, ... Genesis 2:4

Thereby it's clear that verses 1 and 2 should be understood as follows:

In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth,
the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon
the face of the deep....

-----

And the Bible says that wisdom was very first, at the beginning:

I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning,
 before ever the earth was.
When there was  no deep I was brought forth;
when there were no fountains abounding with water.

Proverbs 8:23-24

Thereby we know that in the very beginning, the very first thought
God had before creation was that of the plan of Christ,
the plan to send His only begotten to suffer death on behalf of all creation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
