There is a lot of excellent teaching here at Worthy. We don't all agree on everything, but in those things that are vital, we almost all do. Dear saints, you don't have to know a whole lot in order to be safe from heresy and delusion. Just get a good grasp on the Gospel and trust that the Great Shepherd will guide your steps and also understand that being in error on issues does not put at risk your stead in Christ.

For those young in the Lord that may be confused about something, reach out to a Mod. A discipleship session(s) can be established for you--one on one or including more than one of the ministering team here at Worthy.

Rom. 8:37 (NAS20S)   But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Is your spiritual leader faithful to the call?  or does he tell the congregation what they want to hear?

I love the point you are making here: Are you going to tell your congretion what they NEED to hear, or are you going to tell them what they WANT to hear?

Wouldn't you say Tammy, that there is too much Speculation and Opinions here on all the different "Millennialisms". There is no proof of any of these "Theorizings" and "Suppositions" by people claiming these various types of opinions of these "Millenialisms" to be fact.

Terrible reading for those new members and non-members here trying to find the truth.

Why not focus on topics that God is clear on, like few claiming to believe in Christ will go to heaven, so that people here search for truths that truly matter, instead of discussing things of mere speculation, in their efforts of translating and tranliterating Gods word for their mere guessing, with nothing "Tangible" to support their thoughts.

Matth. 7:13-14, (13) “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Luke 13:23-24

23 And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able."

Matthew 7:21-23, 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness."

Many people hate these above verses because together they "dramatically" narrow down the falsehood of the many -going-to-heaven theology, and mentality.

Couldn't agree with you, more, Arrabon!

Satan would love to have us focus on things that have little to do with the HERE & NOW, things that don't have any bearing on our relationship with Jesus, things that don't actually affect our character.

So many seem to not see that little word STRIVE in "Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able."  Luke 13:24.

There is a part we must play in our own salvation. We must be willing to accept what Jesus has done FOR US, that we cannot do for ourselves, but we must also be willing to "... work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."  Phillipians 2:12.

It's that perfect combination of "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  Phillipians 4:13 that we really need to focus on :).

@Tammy Roesch

As you said, "I couldn't agree with you more."

So many these days try to simplify God's word and give us a partial salvation that it is easy. They say" all you have to do", When God say's in 1st Peter 4:18, "If it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved."

The word "Strive" that you quoted is a "powerful word" with deep meaning about the difficulties of staying a believer, as scripture say's;

1 Peter 5:8

8 "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."

Many have abandoned the truth, for lies that very sound good, and very appealing, but God says those who abandon the truth for a lie, will be given a "Powerful (Depraved) delusion  of the mind, and a mind of a reprobate, 2nd thess. 2:10-12 and Romans 1:28.

Jesus himself said "count the cost" in Luke 14, "Whoever does not "bare his own cross" and come after me cannot be my disciple. For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and "count the cost."

@Tammy Roesch

In my neighborhood, there is a "RETIRED" pastor that I've become friends with, who was forced out of his last 2 churches for preaching the same truth he preached for nearly 40 years before, but over time he has seen and heard more complaints, at first from just church members, but at the last 2 churches, there was so many complaints to the eldership and from the eldership, to soften his message and preach an easier gospel and salvation, and because he refused, they fired him.

Standing up for the truth can be costly. I am proud of him for standing his ground for Christ, and Christs truth. Praise God !!!

I give him alot of credit!  So many today are afraid to let it be known where they stand on ANYTHING!

I had an interesting thing happen yesterday.  A new customer called me to place an order (I'm an Herbalist and have a mail order business) and after asking about the product, the guy said, "I see you don't allow people to pay by PayPal, why?" I told him that PayPal stands for everything that I as a Christian am against.  They are for Black Lives Matter, they are against the Police and so much more! He said,"Whoa! Listen to you!  Most people are afraid to say that!  I'm from the Bronx and I'm a Conservative Christian and I really appreciate you saying that!"  It was a refreshing conversation.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
