Yes, POLITICALLY it is the best solution...but Pat said it on the 700 club which should not be about politics so it was a mistake for "him" to say it.

But everyone with a brain understands that this is the best way to head off hostilities (which could eventually lead to a war) in South America.

Without a doubt, the world would be better off if people like Chavez were not in power. Still, this incident just gives him fuel for his communist cause and it dosen't help what is already a very delicate situation. Pat just needs to think before he speaks on a national forum such as his. Its not a matter of law or him(Pat) even being wrong about Chavez, it is just a bit irresponcible because it weakens our ability for diplomacy.

Anyway, killing him off right now might just make a martyr out of him...martyrs are very powerful for being so dead.

Besides, I'm sure if the government thought it was that simple, it would've been done already...but there's the whole anti-asassination policy, not to mention how obvious it would be to the Venezuelans right now. *shrug* It may seem logical on the surface, but, as usual, there's a lot to consider.

It may well be that Pat sent a message to Mr Chavez from Mr. Bush that Mr. Bush could not say openly. Create the problem and let Mr. Chavez get the message from different groups discussing whether or not it was proper.

i know that,but i'm pretty sure God doesnt want us to plot murder,we didnt give that man life so we dont have the right to take it.all i'm saying is that we shuld let God deal with it.are you guys suggesting God told that man to suggest murder?i doubt it
